Beautiful Property, Delightful Staff

Ahhhh . . . another stellar Hilton experience. A friend and I booked a double queen room here because of its very high TripAdvisor rating. We weren't disappointed. The staff was the best part of this stay. The front desk clerk had a delicious sense of humor (a self-labeled Hilton snob), and the breakfast chef gladly accommodated our every request.
Our 4th-floor room was spotless clean, with every imaginable amenity (my favorite being the Keurig coffee maker). Furnishings included a mini-refridge, microwave, flat screen, easy chair and end table, blackout blinds, a desk/dresser/luggage rack combo, night table and full length mirror. Amenities included a separate 3-drawer chest inside the closet, iron and board, hair dryer, portable luggage rack, and laundry service. The mattress was perfection, as usual.
The bathroom was large, and I appreciated the bathtub/shower combo here since so many of the Hilton Garden Inns don't have tubs anymore. Towels were abundant and thick. Counter space was plentiful, and lighting was excellent. Toiletries were better than average - Neutrogena shampoo, conditioner, body lotion, French-milled soap, a shower cap and a vanity kit. Hot water was plentiful and the water pressure was good.
I did have a couple of complaints, one being the slower than average wi-fi service. It was borderline acceptable. The other complaint was the hotel management still using a plandemic as an excuse not to open the pool or fitness center, while every other Hilton brand we've stayed at on this trip has fully functioning common areas. I appreciated the fact that nobody was pretending masks were necessary anymore, but some aspects of service here are definitely lagging behind the industry.
The breakfast was wonderful and really a good deal for Hilton Honors members, with the current buy one/get one special. I had fresh-cooked oatmeal with brown sugar and cream while the chef prepared my custom veggie omelet. I would have enjoyed some crisp turkey bacon, which the chef said used to be offered pre-virus. It hasn't yet been restored to the menu - only pork meat is available (which I won't eat). The fresh blueberries, strawberries and pineapple were divine.
Other than a few blips, this was a delightful stay. I wouldn't hesitate to book another night here the next time I'm in Cincinnati.
Clean hotel, friendly staff

Hotel staff was very friendly. Hotel was clean. If you wanted daily housekeeping services, you had to request it (which was not a big deal). The restaurant was only serving breakfast at this time. I would stay there again.
Won’t stay again

Not worth the price I was charged. Could use some updating and a good cleaning. The housekeepers were not wearing mask nor were other guest. The pool and fitness center were closed. Was not informed of any food options, was not asked for my ID or credit card to check in.
Great place to stay

It was a great place to stay and wonderful customer service. Was out of town and needed a place to stay last minute, I like to stay at Hilton’s. And this was close by to where I needed to be. If and when I am in the area again I will stay there. It was clean and comfortable to be there. The bed was comfy, but felt like the room did not get as cool as we wanted. Did not eat breakfast, did not want to spend extra money for it.
