Very satisfying stay.

Stayed here with my family and I could not recommend more. The staff were very friendly and attentive and up for a laugh, our children were also made to feel very welcome. Great live music in the bar, the prices are a little bit expensive but that is my only complaint - if you can call it that. We will definitely be staying again.

Amex signage but they don't take, friendly banter crowd and some great staff but some know heads, bit of a dive. The speakers were shoddy and the wine was terrible. As I say the only reddeming feature are some of the lovely staff but ot doesn't save it enough for me to ever return.

we stayed last minute, we arrived at the hotel and was checked in at the bar which was ok, we was shown up to our room by the manger kat and she explained that there was renovations gong on, and that if we come across any problems to come and let her know, the only fault we found was the TV, when we went for a drink at the bar, we spoke to kat about this and she explain that some of the channels was working but not all, and offered us a drink on the house, for the money we paid we was both very happy and would recommend and stay again. thamks again to the royal hotel

My boyfriend and I went to Sheerness to visit some friends couple of weeks ago and The Royal Hotel looked like a great hotel over the photos. I am glad we have chosen this hotel for our staycation, I have had a great time over the weekend. Amazing stay and extremely clean rooms. The hotel is well located in the town centre and is very close to the seaside. The bed and pillows were comfy and very clean and all the staff were friendly definitely will visit again soon ☺️
Probably the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in

Stayed at this hotel for a night visiting family. The hotel is above a lively bar, this makes for a noisy night with our room being right above where the band where playing. Rooms can only be described as filthy pig pits. Clearly hasn’t been cleaned for a few years nether mind after each use. Pubic hair scattered around the bathroom like it’s confetti. Blood on the sheets. Carpet has more stains than a brothel. You know it’s bad when you have to wipe your feet leaving room. You are provided with a kettle and tea bags and a bottle of water. However our water had its seal broke on the lid and although I can’t prove it the water tastes very similar to tap water. Good cost saving I suppose. Tv didn’t work and the tap in the bathroom only works if there’s a full moon. Do yourself a favour and do not book here.
