Great Check In, Good Stay, Crabby Desk Clerk at AM Check-Out

My check-in experience was great. The room was great. Breakfast was good. Tom, the crabby morning desk clerk, detracted from the positives. Breakfast started at 6:30. I grabbed a yogurt from the dark breakfast area (filled w/guests) and stopped at the front desk to ask if lights could be turned on. Tom said it was too early. It was now 6:39. He growled and flipped on the lights, then snarled, “Does that make your day?” I thanked him and asked if I could have my bill, because I planned to leave at 8. He said no, because it would trigger housekeeping to clean my room, and that I needed to come back at 8.

Great place to stop right off I 75

This is the perfect place to stop while traveling. It is right off the highway and very easy to access. Service was great from the minute we arrived. Marissa was very friendly and helpful. They have a full breakfast and it was hot and fresh. Also, for those traveling with disabilities, the elevator is larger so that was nice. The hotel is well-maintained and everything was clean. There are plenty of restaurants in the area if you want to get a meal while staying. Overall, The stay was great and we would definitely stay here again.

On 11/14/21, we had an unfortunate collision with a deer while driving from MI to home in GA. Our car was totaled. We arrived at the hotel around 3:30 am; shaken, upset, exhausted. The night clerk was very accommodating. Next morning, we had to find a rental car; the staff was very concerned and helped us tremendously. A couple of them provided transportation to the airport to pick up our rental after they got off work. Getting a rental car turned into an all day ordeal and we were at the hotel until 5:30 pm. Everyone continually checked on us, offering help any way possible. The hotel was clean and comfortable; but nowadays, to find employees as concerned and helpful is very commendable!! One of the day staff called me on Wednesday morning to make sure we had arrived home safely. Our thanks to everyone for your kindness - God bless you all!

We stayed here for a couple of nights in May 2021. We were blown away at the condition of this hotel and how CLEAN everything was. We felt safe, rested well, and even were pleased that hot breakfast was being served. The breakfast lady certainly delivered when I asked for "a bunch of bacon!" Everyone was so nice and friendly. We'll be coming back through this area in August, sure to stay here again.

I stay in Holiday Inn Expresses throughout the US. This location ranks in the top tier...great check in...super clean room...one of the best breakfastsg I've experienced. I was extremely impressed with this location.
