At arrival your credit card number is required to get the room even in case of pre payment (which is definitely not PCIDSS compliant). After the check-out your card gets magically debited of small amout(s). So there is at least one crook and thief among the staff... - No swimming pool on the roof but access allowed in another building down the road - Rooms in serious need of refurbishment, especially the bathrooms which are not spotless clean - Don't check the mattress under the sheets, it has seen it's fair share of body fluilds... - The rooms are noisy + Location is great + I had worse breakfast at better hotels, even if classique it's fresh + Staff is really friendly and accommodating

I Stayed in the hotel for 11 days . I had a great experience . The room was nice fhe cleaner comes everyday to clean the room. The service in general, reception, cleaners and the breakfeast was amazing . Especialy the manager George is very kind regards to everyone

We stayed here for 4 nights. The downsides were that approx 20 students were here at the same time, the weather was shocking half the time (not the hotels fault!), the TV didn’t work, and the beds could have been better. However, the staff were fabulous and friendly, massive thank you to George who was like an old friend and couldn’t do enough; the breakfast was a very pleasant surprise; and again thanks to George and his upgrade, we had a beautiful view of the whole harbour and Valletta. The hotel is really well positioned in Sliema and, even with the temperamental lift, we would definitely stay there again.

Please don’t book this hotel, any pictures you find online are deceitful and probably taken 20 years ago. I booked this hotel based on the pictures I saw online, unfortunately when I arrived it was a different story: the hotel is dirty and smells of bio, the room was horrible: rust and dirty in the bathroom, dirty and old appliances, noisy aircon. Overall very dusty and old furniture, the bed and pillows very uncomfortable. We got a room facing the street, the noise coming from outside was unbelievable. After the first night we decided to move to another hotel, they refused to refund the second night even when I showed them the pictures of the dirt of the room. I have never walked out from an hotel in my life, I guess there’s always a first time! Btw the pictures of the outdoor areas are completely fake, they don’t have any outdoor space, they offered us to use the swimming pool and lido of the sister hotel 600 mt distant from the hotel.
Dishonest and deceitful owners

Booked this hotel in January 2021 for a September break. A few days prior to our arrival I was advised by both Expedia and the hotel to check in on line, however ever the booking reference was not recognised and I was unable to complete on line check in. Due to this fact I emailed the hotel, via Expedia, on 2 occasions without the courtesy of a response. We arrived as scheduled late in the evening only to be informed that the hotel was a covid accommodation and we were now staying at their sister hotel, which was 1km away. I find the behaviour of the hotel owners very deceptive and dishonest in failing to inform customers of this fact and not giving them the option to cancel , and rebook somewhere of their own choice, and instead fraudulently taking payment when they know that they can not fulfil the booking reservation . The hotel which we were allocated would not of been our choice of accommodation if we had been informed of the situation. I will provide a review of the sister hotel at the end of our holiday. I will also be taking up the matter with Expedia on our return..
