The worst hotel I have ever been
The hotel is ok, but the staff is very rude I could not believe that they were behaving that way! We had reserved four rooms for two nights and we were asked to pay parking 10 euros for a car. The receptionist told us that if we are not happy with that we can leave the rooms, that simple. I don't expect to much for breakfast but that one was horrible, we didn't even go the other day.
Not bad, but I wouldn't recommend if staying for longer than 2/3 days
Hotel itself is very nice, rooms are ok but small details spoil it. Curtains too small to fit the windows, showers that don't "stay up" on the rail, Air Con that always heats the room and can't switch it off. Amenities are good and varied, but the bar/restaurant is always quiet and no one serving! The worst part was the breakfast, always luke warm or cold, never hot and not enough variety. The coffee tasted awful and so did the juices.
Nice and pleasant 4 star hotel
Rooms are OK. Clean and efficient. Some furniture had better days but OK. Breakfast is good. I was there for 7 nights and the variety changed from day to day. Bar is OK. Expect one for young people and less for business ones.
Best choice either for city break or transit
I was there for a short city break, to view the "moreni" on mount Vitosha and what else we could visit in the short time of my stay. The hotel is easyly accessible, either from the ringroad (south), or from the city center. I stayed in a standard double room. Nice, large, well lit. The double bed was comfy, but all in all - the furniture should need some maintenance. Good breakfast. Nice and helpful staff. There is free wifi internet everywhere in the hotel.
Getting very tired
This hotel used to be a great hotel, Still is very good, Nice rooms, staff, restaurant, great WiFi, everywhere is close Not expensive etc etc etc. But it has changed at all since 2013 when I first start to come annually for business. Literally bar the little car in the foyet and a little wine shop opened - nothing has changed. The rooms are old and tired, the deco and overal appearance is now in serious need of improving. I expect better and more for €130 a night. In my room the doors where broke, their was mold round the bath, areas hadn’t been cleaned and looked poorly kept. Shame but I may need to look at different hotel when I come back next year, and I on average spend over 14 nights a year here for sheer ease, I don’t think I will in 2020, when the Hilton 10 mins away costs about the same.
