Lovely hotel built into the cliff with fabulous views over the bay of Sorrento. We had a garden room which was very peaceful, the road which is literally outside the front steps of the hotel is very busy. Our bed was very comfortable. The downside is the road has to be crossed to walk to the town, there is no pavement until you are round the corner. We had a car which I am not sure is a good idea, the carpark is a nightmare to get in and out of and also expensive to park in, it wasn't full when we were there but at a busy time must run out of spaces, there is no alternative nearby. The staff are all very friendly and helpful Gabriella on reception was lovely, we had my husbands son and girlfriend joining us for a couple of nights, she upgraded them to a room next to ours which made their stay very special
Would stay again

The hotel was beautiful. The staff was great (especially the bartender, Angelo), the room was very spacious and clean, and the view was amazing from our balcony. The only downside was crossing the street when walking back at night and the lack of shuttle to town. The pool also wasn’t as nice as it looked in the pictures
Nice hotel. Terrible service

This hotels looks to have been refurbished in recent times. Clean and comfortable.
A shame they didn't refurbish the staff attitude. The staff were rude unhelpful and looked miserable. Staff did not engage or welcome you in the dining room. We watched them roll their eyes when guests asked them for help. The hotels lack of service and rude staff was the talk of the dining room by many guests. We agreed with other guests it really spolied our trip.
Food service was also poor.
As governments and the hospitality industry around the world are doing great things to reduce the use of plastic this hotel scores badly. A supposedly 4 star hotel only offers guests to drink from plastic cups wrapped in cling wrap plastic. Shabby as. This was in dining room snack bar and hotel rooms.
Franco you are the hotels saving grace.

We stayed at the Miramare for 4 nights. Bright, clean and modern. Lovely hotel and lovely helpful staff. We emailed Gabrielle many times before we arrived to get information on recommended restaurants and organised tours. She was very helpful and arranged a fabulous semi private boat trip for us.
Really lovely holiday, would highly recommend staying at the Miramare hotel.

We stood here for three days, this hotel was very clean, spacious with amazing views. When we arrived we were given two comp drinks by the receptionist which was very nice. The room was spacious and had all essentials, it was cleaned daily. The view from the hotel was amazing you can watch the sunset and take a 10-12 minute walk to the center or Sorrento. The parking was accommodating, the morning breakfast was a pleasure with a view. The pool was big and refreshing. The entire stay was excellent. Thank you !
