Still waiting for our linens!!!

We stayed over Thanksgiving weekend for a hockey tournament...had to stay here no choice...we weren’t given our cookies upon check in and the women at the desk was not friendly or able to answer many questions...we had a room that was fine but nothing special...there was sofa bed but no linens for it...my husband went down and asked for some and extra towels as there weren’t enough for all three of us...we waited for about 45 minutes and then called down and are still waiting in theory...they never came so we had to take a sheet off of our bed so that our son could go to bed!!! Our team was spread out over the hotel and not grouped together and there were so many buildings it was confusing and hard to navigate. The pool was nice and not too hot. We never got to breakfast as we had games both mornings and asked about maybe being able to take something to go but nobody could help us with that and we were told that it was included so we were missing out on any monetary value...I beg to differ with that assessment since we paid a fortune to stay there. Would not stay here again!!!
Upscale hotel with a few quirks

I was in Vermont for a few nights and needed a hotel that had good proximity to Burlington, the airport, and the Interstate. My stay started off on a sour note when I was denied a free shuttle ride "due to COVID." If this is the case, please take the free shuttle amenity off the hotel website. It felt like a bait and switch. I calmed down a bit after I had a free warm cookie at check-in. I was quite pleased with the common areas and my specific room. Everything was clean and inviting. I got a bit annoyed again when I saw the bar soap provided in the bathroom. It was the size of a small matchbook! I understand supply shortages, but providing such a skimpy soap felt insulting for the price of this hotel. I know, not a huge deal, but somehow every other hotel I have stayed in has figured out how to provide full-size soap. The property is sort of four linear wings arranged into a square, each appearing to be from different eras. The indoor pool was in the middle and was quite nice to use after a long day outside. Breakfast as an Honors member was good, although I felt it was a bit expensive for what you get. Every staff member I interacted with was professional and made me feel welcome. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again, but I would bring my own soap next time.
Very different rooms

We stayed at this hotel twice, at the beginning and at the end of our Vermont vacation. The hotel was okay. The interior with a huge covered atrium looked cool. The hotel itself is comprised of several wings joined together. The rooms were very different, depending on the wing. Our first room was nice, but it was facing the atrium with little natural light. The second room was much more dated and cramped. Initially we got a room with the smell of stale cigarette smoke. When we asked the front desk about it, they were kind enough to move us to a similar room with fresher air. Still, the air conditioner was noisy and the bathroom was really tiny. The breakfast buffet was okay, but was way overpriced at around $20 after tax, etc. I would probably stay in this hotel for one night, if the price was low, but for longer stays I would look for a nicer option.

The place was awesome and really quiet for being on the third floor. It is ran by Hilton so if you did have a request or a problem having it solved would not be a problem. For me the stay was great! Thanks to the staff that make it happen behind the scenes.
Bring your shower slippers!
Reviewed 2 november, 2021
Have you ever stayed at a hotel (paying almost $200/night) and realized that it was necessary to wear shower slippers (like at a campsite) because the bathtub had a visible layer of removable filth (and mildew)? This is the place for you! A simple bleach spray would clean it quickly. The lack of attention to the hotel room was readily apparent throughout the room (e.g., visible dead insects in the lamp covers, dust layer around the room). Overall the layout of the hotel is odd (one level has no elevator access -- multiple steps up from street level and a hike from reception). There is a large indoor pool & fitness room (good luck finding where to access), and ample spaces for group meetings. Was glad that we were not there for an extended period and was regretting not staying at Motel 6 (seriously). Won't be back.
