More about the hotel
Saggy pull out
- Hotel lobby was nice and clean when checking in. - Check in process was disjointed. Was told breakfast wasn’t available due to staffing issues. The next morning and subsequent mornings we noticed made to order breakfast and dinner was being served so the left hand didn’t know what the right was doing. - Wasn’t told about $10 hotel credit voucher. - Called to request towels and were told could pick them up at the front desk. Not great service. - Stayed in a king suite (418). Pullout bed was a disaster. Mattress sagged badly in the middle and we could feel all the springs in the mattress. Asked for a replacement mattress and none was available so asked for a comforter to use as padding after also putting cushions under the mattress to help stop it from sagging. King size bed was comfortable. - Visited the on-site bar to use the $10 voucher I only found out about by reading reviews of the hotel after we checked in. A nice little bar that is also the coffee stand in the mornings. They serve beer and wine. They have up to six beers on tap and also bottled wine and beer. I tried a few different tap samples and thought they were all flat so opted for a bottle. I was told the first two bottle choices were sold out, as seen by the turned away labels. Who knew?!? - The 24/7 pool was great. The pool was at a nice temp and was a good size. Not sure if the hot tub was too hot or had too many chemicals because two people complained of stinging/burning sensation while in the hot tub. - Room cleanliness was so so. Not a lot of attention to detail, dust on shelves, dirt in bathroom mirror corners, and some shoddy repairs to missing room fixtures. Our room was a building corner room that was a handicap room. I figured the room would be extra spacious but it was surprisingly tight and I struggled to see how a wheelchair could have fit in the fairly cramped room. Overall, staff was friendly, rooms were quiet, the location was decent, and the price was reasonable. Even still, I think I’ll explore other options in the area next time.
Excellent experience.
First time for us at a Cambria hotel. I recommend this completely. The staff was friendly and always wore their masks while moving about in the hotel, and behind the counter. One poor guy had to come all the way from the fourth floor of the sister hotel next door to the fourth floor at this hotel, to assist us with the lock, but he was truly friendly and willing to help. The rooms are all suites. There is a nice TV viewing area between the door and the beds. Beds are comfortable. The place is quiet. Breakfast is not included. But I would still stay here again. I can always pick up most breakfast items at a fast food place or even a tourist stop.
Excellent value and clean!
We stopped on our way to Montana and were extremely pleased with the space in the room and very clean! Would seek out Cambria in other locations because of our experience at this location. Separate sitting area with 2nd TV for those that want separation from sleeping crew.
Interstate location easy access to area
Nice hotel with plenty of parking, and easy access off of interstate. Rooms are a good size and appear to be suites. Our room had a king bed, separate sitting area with a pull out couch and easy chair. Desk, refrigerator, microwave and coffee in room. Two TVs were also a nice option as sometimes in these suites you have to move tv around. Hotel has a small restuarant on the premises and also a little convenience store. Choice members get a $10 stay credit. Nice size indoor pool, hot tube and workout area. Hotel also had a nice outside sitting area with fire pit. A restaurant (Sickies Garage) is a short walk and a Cabela's is also a walk across the parking lot. Other restaurants are a short drive. Only downside is the breakfast not included.
All good, but front desk!
Room was well designed! It was clean with exception of coffee maker. Bathroom was nicely furnished with quality towels. Bed and pillows were very comfortable. Cable channels were sufficient and internet worked well. The only thing was check-in and check-out. More so, check-out. The guy at the front desk never cracked a smile nor inquired about my stay. He certainly didn’t say, “we hope see you again for another” or “have a nice day.” I inquired about the shuttle to the airport. By his reaction, one would have thought I was wanting something that wasn’t even offered. However, he did book it for me. Maybe he was just having a bad day or perhaps a brief hands on course in some public relation skills might be beneficial. Needless, to say, this interaction let an negative impression.
