We walked out!

So we were in the lobby and I noticed several magazines through out the lobby that were pushing conspiracy theories and radical propaganda. I pointed it out to the woman at the front desk because I thought someone might have put it there with out their knowledge. No, apparently that was not the case. The woman came from behind the desk and went on a tyrannical rant about how we no longer live in a democracy, the President wasn’t really elected and it’s a good thing that insurgents stormed the Capital. We were shocked and immediately left for a different motel. So I guess if you are looking for a place to hold your Q convention, or whatever those nuts call it, then maybe that’s the place for you, but I will never go anywhere near that place!

When we arrived we were completely ignored by the woman running the desk. Three other families were also there being ignored. She was on the phone. After waiting 20 minutes we left and had lunch. We came back and two people on the phone ignoring us. We found it rude and unprofessional. Not a good start, however after finally being checked in we found our room clean and comfortable. The maids and other staff around the property were kind and friendly. The Perkins attached to the hotel was busy but efficient with really nice staff. The Cheers bar was closed and that was disappointing also. If you close an amenity you should put that on your website. The location is great. .

The photos are well doctored. This property is in need of much updating. Carpet is stained, worn and cut up. Beds ok for one person but two made them a canoe. The rooms are clean but walls are thin. At check in we found we had a $100 hold placed on our credit card which is refunded when leaving. We’re not here to party, we just wanted a clean quiet sleep. If I was booking again I’d look at anything off exit 60 or 61, the newer properties and take the higher priced rooms. This is a you get what you pay for stay.
Would never stay here

The chief and I made a reservation here based on their website and reviews. After a day in Yellowstone, we wanted a place to rest. The property itself isn’t nice. It’s old and tacky. They do have a waterslide at their indoor pool if you have kids. The room was awful. Paper thin towels, smallest soaps you can imagine, and the armchair in the room was so stained I wouldn’t even go near it. The carpets are old and felt sticky. Stay somewhere else.

Don’t let the pictures or the good reviews fool you! The pool is small and cold, the hot tub was tiny, the whole place was extremely outdated and the hallways and rooms smelled horrible! I had to Lysol EVERYTHING and bought air fresheners but it didn’t help! The microwave was disgusting and there was what appeared to be a pubic hair on our “clean” towels! The staff was not friendly except for 1 lady who was there on our last night. The 1st night we were not able to get connected to their WiFi which was a pain! DON’T STAY HERE!!!!!
