I came to visit SPI on 9/26-10/3. It was not overly crowded. The hotel staff was extremely friendly and very hospitable. On 10/1, there was a tremendous rain storm. Brandon, front desk clerk, was quick to run outside and help my mother inside while I parked the SUV. Alejandro, also front desk clerk, was also very helpful and knowledgeable about all the events that were going on the island. Ms. Carmen was an amazing hostess, she was attentive, and made my mother and I feel like we were family. We look forward to visiting here again! At the end of our visit, we also a enjoyed a fireworks show while lounging by the pool!

Unauthorized Random Gift charges

They posted unauthorized “Gift” charges on my invoice four times .... FRAUD .. they claimed they was going to refund the 4 charges ... they did but then charged it back before it processed ...I tried to ask for the mgr they claim he will call me back ... They never did call me back . The bathrooms are very small.. I could barely walk in it without hitting my leg on the toilet... I will never go to this hotel again ...

We booked this hotel for its proximity to the beach and because it was recently renovated. There were long black hairs on the bathroom floor, shower wall, and across the soap bottles. (We are all blonde/light brown haired-so they were not ours). We notified the front desk and someone came to our room and removed a couple of them and left the rest. The pool is very underwhelming. Even though the hotel had some updates, it still has an old feel. We did enjoy the comfortable beds. This was overall a very disappointing for an IHG property. We will not return.

They will not clean your room

I have stayed at the north padre location many times. This time no one cleaned the room ( I was not asked at check In) and we had absolutely horrible service. The elevators were not working so my entire family has to climb stairs. I paid almost 300 more than I have ever paid for horrendous service and rude staff. I was not given coffee for the mornings, did not have cleaned rooms ( Covid!???) and had to request clean linens and towels. For 300-* a night I could easily go to a better known hotel without the attitude given at this location. If this is the attidude of holiday inn with Covid then I am completely done wiTh this chain.

Clean rooms,comfortable mattresses,friendly help summarizes this Holiday Inn.Breakfast very good with different choices and wonderful staff.Location of this hotel was well situated to beach and attractions.
