Arrived early on entering the host asked “what are we doing there” almost like we were disturbing him he then pointed to a sign “check in 3 pm” it was 1.30pm so granted but the delivery of the message - and was he really full ? Left and cancelled our booking - as soon as it was cancelled he came out knocking on our window but it was too late - be warned very rude host
The best or the worst

Tub didn't work correctly the drain wouldnt plug so you could only get about two inches of water at a time. There were some small holes in the walls. They did have fridge an microwave. I was able to get a good price on priceline but that's the only reason I went the prices posted on the door are ridiculous I would never pay 300 for 1 night the 50 I did pay was more then it was worth
We Were Desperate and Unlike Hilton and IHG, They Didn't Try to Gouge Us

If we hadn't been desperate, we would not have stayed here, but it was late and every Hilton and IHG hotel we called about were asking as much as twice the Trip Advisor posted rate, so we stayed here. When we arrived, had to wait several minutes for someone to come to the desk, however, he was nice...much friendlier than the others we saw during our stay. Since it was raining, we stayed a second day. Never stayed at a hotel where nobody came in to clean our room, even after the guy said they would. Dog hair left from previous guest. Sticky stuff on floor. Breakfast was a joke. Who considers Sunny D orange juice??? Big step-off at our door to our room that almost resulted in a serious fall. Guy at checkout, who appeared to be the GM, was the most unfriendly guy I've ever come in contact with in the hospitality industry. Only things good I can say about the place were we had a place to stay and the beds were comfortable...clean, I'm not sure and it was close to places to eat we were familiar with and it was close to the price posted. Place needs a thorough cleaning and an upgrade.
Excellent second stay

Stayed here in May and again in October. Very convenient location in the Portland area. Our room this trip appeared more updated than our last trip. Great king size bed. Excellent matress and pillows. Room was very clean with a microwave, fridge and large tv. Breakfast in the morning is very basic consisting of bread, yogurts, bananas, cereal and today actually there were eggs and sausage patties. Small spot to sit and eat or take it back to your room. Appears to be a ton of parking even if hotel was full. Hotel is very centrally located in Portland surrounded by the mall, other shopping, and many restaurants. I have no complaints with this hotel and will definitely be back when I return to Portland. The price appears to always be lowest in town!

Summer rates in Maine are too pricey. This ($80 max any where in USA) room was over $200 in August. Property does need an upgrade/paint job. Rooms were acceptable and beds were firm and comfortable. Friendly staff!
