Great value and location

This was our first stay at this hotel. The location and price were excellent. We really appreciated all the original details and the modern upgrades. The room was spacious and comfortable. The staff were helpful, especially when our neighbours were too loud.

Parking can be a challenge

One issue for me- I had an oversized vehicle (a tall work truck with antennas, etc). Before reserving a hotel room I asked the front desk about parking options and it sounded like there was a lot across the street, so decided to book it. When I got there it didn’t look like the lot would work due to limited hours for use so started hunting for parking that would work, which took about two hours to find. I would have appreciated clear information on nearby parking options. Even if I had had a regular-sized vehicle, I would not have been able to do valet parking due to workplace rules, and would have needed a self park option. The staff did not seem very knowledgeable about options other than valet, and it was difficult to find overnight options nearby for parking. Having resources for this for people not familiar with the area would have been very helpful. A coworker had told me that the Davenport autograph hotel offers a parking permit for oversized vehicles for street parking - something like that would have made this experience much more painless. I haven’t verified that info but will look into it next time I’m in town. Hopefully next trip will be better!

Beautifully restored in downtown Spokane. The front desk and restaurant staff were the best! The breakfast potatoes were so good. Comfy beds, nicely decorated and furnished. The shower was large with a nice shower head.

Amazing little old town hotel

What an amazing older hotel in the downtown. The rooms have been redone it looks like. The staff was really friendly. No not all in full uniforms and dressed to nines but they were helpful. Nice and very professional And breakfast was spectacular. I think I finally found a main location for me to stay when I come through Spokane Only reason I didn’t give it a 5 is I could see parking being tough. I got a spot on the street right by the hotel but if you don’t get lucky you will have to park down an alley that has cameras or pay for valet parking if you want to ensure security

Walked in for breakfast .. had heard so many nice things.. thought we’d try. Walked in, waitress said “ go sit anywhere, I’ll get to you when I can. And there we sat…. I got up and got menus … never saw her again. We finally left. No one even noticed. I’m sure she was the only server and overworked. ☹️☹️.
