Mike really made our holidays - also love look and feel of hotel at such a reasonable price point. Location is perfect for quick drive up the mt or short walk to town. Breakfast is also another lovely touch

We’ve stayed at their roperty in Portsmouth NH and so felt like we’d be in good hands - we were. Enjoyed our stay so much and will be back to hear music and enjoy Sunday brunch. I’ve already recommended the place to friends! Being in the hospitality business for 40 years I know good service when I see it. Aiden rocks. Our little anniversary hang will be imprinted on my heart

We were very excited to be going to Stowe. As left coasters we looked forward to experience all Vermont has to offer, especially during leafy season. Needless to say, we were very disappointed with Field Guide Lodge. Just getting our stuff up to our room was a hassle. We were on the top floor, in the back, where there are stairs and ramp, but you can’t go in that way, at least until you’ve gotten to your room. One of us had to hold the door open while the other trudged through the muddy parking area. The room was exceptionally small, with no place to put anything. We booked through Booking.com and none of the pictures looked anything like the tiny room we booked. Mind you the room was very expensive and compared unfavorably with the simplest old school motel. We did gripe and we were awarded a $100 refund. Breakfast had “different” offerings, some of which appeared to have been out past their expiration. If we return to Stowe in our later years we will choose different accommodations.

Excellent location, clean, looks great, pleasant space, tasty breakfast .wonderful restaurants all over. Friendly staff. Must be there in winter time when is snowing.looks great for skiing areas around

Aiden did an amazing job making sure that everything we needed was taken care of. The room was exactly as we expected it, just as pictured. My wife loved the soaking tub with the sweet addition of the bath salts. We made a reservation for the hot tub and it was nice to be able to enjoy it by ourselves. The "Apres Only" Bar was a neat getaway and the bartender was awesome! Bagel - a restaurant across the street has great breakfast! NOTE: There is NO elevator. This didn't bug us, and it's mentioned in the hotel description but it is worth noting. #floorislava
