Hot Spring Lovers & Foodies
Take a scenic drive from Kobe to beautiful & refreshing Awaji Island's Hotel New Awaji. From the moment you approach the parking lot you'll feel the warm hospitality that awaits you! Enjoy the ocean view from your tatami room, delectable seafood dinner, soothing hot spring tubs & expansive breakfast buffet. If you're going to pamper yourself just once during your trip to Japan, this is the place! Awaji is also known for its delicious sweet onions. Stop at the rest area after crossing the Akashi Kaikyo Bridge for a fulfilling lunch, a few gifts (including onion souvenirs & foods) in the well-stocked gift shop and beautiful view of the world's longest central span suspension bridge on your way to the hotel.
Fantastic place for relaxation
We stayed in room 401 of Villa Rakuen. It takes about 2.5hours to get here from Osaka including the hotel shuttle. The place is fantastic; check in was a breeze and the reception will escort you to your floor level whereby your room attendant lady will take over. The room lady speaks frequent English and was very friendly and explained the entire room layout, facilities, dinner breakfast timings and also gave us information on the public hot springs. We had our own outdoor hot springs in-room but I recommend to go to the public ones too for experience. There is a mini arcade and a playroom for children in the hotel. Our room was spacious, half western half Japanese style. There were a total of 3 televisions! The toilet comes with an auto lid opener and auto flush system. Dinner and breakfast were kaiseki style and delicious. We also had a tea ceremony upon arrival. If you stay at the Villa Rakuen, you get access to the lounge on the top floor. There are some biscuits and drinks, and also a massage chair. We had a amazing view of the sea from our room. It was Spring when we went and was still cold, therefore there were not many people which we preferred. We had a lovely stay and would definitely recommend this hotel.
Excellent ryokan stay
It was a pleasure to stay with Hotel New Awaji. The staff are friendly and nice. I would recommend it to people who wants to try out the traditional ryokan stay. We love how they served us with dinner, breakfast and preparing our bed. It’s a relaxing place for couples and family.
A great place where you can enjoy the Japanese Style Hotel
My boyfriend wanted to experience a Japanese Style hotel and this was one of the best place to experience it. We got a deluxe room with sea view and with our own private bath. The accomodation comes with experiencing Japanese style dish or Washoku and the room was a tatami room complete with the tatami bed. The tatami bed is set by the staff and food was set inside the room by YOUR OWN STAFF wearing a pretty kimono. The hotel also has a lot of baths you can use. One of the greatest experience we had in Japan.
