A surprise hotel
If you are looking for a fun hotel, where price quality is well in balance, this hotel is just your hotel. Great food, friendly staff and a great place for just your weekend get away. Winterberg is within range 45 min, so there is just a lot to do. If you are a hike fan, this hotel is your visit more then worth. If you are lucky to have snow, this place is mystical.
Solid german stay
Nice rooms, excellent breakfast, halfpension kitchen is varied and tastefull within silent setting. Style of interior is classic. Service of the crew friendly and correct. We used sauna and pool freq.
a big surprise
A very nice old hotel in a splendid area. The room we had booked on the internet was a bit smaller than expected. But for a small supplement we got probably the largest appartment ever. It ran 27 meters from one side to the other of the newly added building. The width was appr. 12 meters. It had a small kitchen, a living room with comfortable seats a large TV and a balcony above of the secluded garden. Next to that there was an open space with many cupboards, a desk with facilities for all kinds of equipments, a large table that could seat 8 people. Then there was a hall with two complete bathrooms and finally a huge bedroom with a large comfortable bed with excellent mattresses. We had breakfast and dinner there, and those were also of good quality. The local waitresses were very friendly and service was fast and excellent. The hotel is situated in avery quit valley, near interesting larger towns, a nice lake where you can take a boat round-trip. And a nearby, new challenging 9-hole golfcourse. We recommend it.
tolles Natursteinhaus in bester Lage zum Wandern
Perfekter Ausgangspunkt für Wandertouren mit Hund. Leckeres Essen in Buffetform, freundlicher und kompetenter Service, große, liebevoll gestaltete Zimmer. Lediglich die Sauberkeit lässt an einigen Stellen echt zu wünschen übrig. Das Hotel ist sehr hundefreundlich und hat zudem noch Schwimmbad und Sauna.
Hotel mit Charme und nettem Personal
Das Hotel liegt etwas ab vom Schuss, was aber nicht umbedingt ein Nachteil sein muss. Das schöne Gebäude wirkt gemütlich und passt gut in die Wälder des Sauerlands. Das Zimmer war schon einen Tag älter und könnte eine Renovierung vertragen. An der Sauberkeit gab es nichts auszusetzen. Sowohl das Abendessen, als auch das Frühstück überzeugten durch guten Geschmack und eine große Auswahl. Insgesamt würde ich das Hotel weiterempfehlen und auch selbst wiederkommen.
