Large green open spaces. You can use their bicycles to cycle around. Fruit and vegetable farms all around yet so near town. Beautiful clean and well appointed big rooms. Breakfast healthy and very filling! Homemade soya milk.. good quality coffee. Rooms look out to greenery. Mountains around . We stayed in the family room with 2 big beds and a nice sitting cum TV area. They can deliver breakfast to your room too. Well worth the price. You can tell a good minsu from the decent toiletries amand the quality of food and towels etc. I would stay here again . Great for kids!! Plenty of space for them to run around !!!

Unique room; lots of green spaces

We stayed in unique half-barrel-shaped-type rooms. There were 5 units only. Inside it is very spacious, clean and neat, including the bathroom. The floor is slightly raised and is entirely wood. The mattresses are laid out on the floor Japanese-style and is comfortable. There is a standing shower and the hot/cold water pressure is good and strong. Wifi in the room is strong and free. Parking is adequate and is directly behind the unit. It has a spacey verandah with garden chairs and table overlooking a large green field and beautifully planted trees. Beyond the green field are farms with fruit trees. It is quiet, peaceful and safe which provided us a very good sleep. Bicycles are provided foc. The reception was very warm and friendly, and the check-in and out processes were fast and efficient.

We stayed overnight on a road trip adventure down the east coast of Taiwan - it's a little way out of the main part of the city as I was paranoid about driving into the centre of larger Taiwan cities. Given the price, it was good value. The property is spacious and peaceful - really lovely gardens and space. It is kind of like a motel in Australia or the USA as you can bring your car right up to the rooms. The rooms have up-market decor, but they are army cabins with all the mod-cons, apart from the army boy uniforms. Reception organised a taxi into town for dinner - only 10-15 minutes. Only minor suggestion for improvement would be the breakfast - really horrible pork buns - I still wretch when I think about it. BTW - A road trip from Hualian to Taitung and return is awesome - the highlight was the rift valley (non-coastal) route where we explored lots of little villages and farms - really amazing road trip.

Ideal accommodation for travelling with young kids as it is surrounded by greeneries. The individual rooms with ranch house design are facing the fields and surrounded by plants and trees. Despite limited facilities available; cycling around with the kids is an activity not to be miss. Despite limited choice for breakfast (choose 1 from the 5 sets available in the menu) but all choices are relatively healthy (2 sets are suitable for vegetarian). With the price paid, can't demand for more.

Overall, we enjoyed our stay. Living quarter is spacious and clean. There are lots of trees and lawn space. Breakfast is healthy and plentiful. Bikes are available for all guests, and bike paths are just nearby. An excellent choice for someone who is seeking quiet and green environment.
