I start with my special thanks to Mr Deepak & Mr Shikhawat at Reception who are courteous to render best service solution in most prompt voice & pro actively. The rooms are extremely relaxing and are very huge facing the river. The F & B manager is Mr Dharmesh who really looked after every single thing to serve food which is ultra delicous. Just 1.5 kms is woods which has all sort of alcohol incase you need any, they remove the permit instantly with 2 valid proofs. I really loved the location of Kavish as it was 700 meters away from main road and for 3 days i was completely away from hustle bustle of the city. Their buffet breakfast is finger licking good . They also arranged the tribal dance on my special request though it was at nominal additional cost. In short i feel this is the best place to enjoy in peace if u wish to relax . Blind foldly trust them and book ! Travel date :- 10th Jan 2023 to 13th Jan 2023 ( 3 Nights ) Cheers

Good property with spacious rooms but poorly managed

The rooms were spacious and clean with a good view but there was shortage of staff and the properly was horribly managed. The breakfast buffet was horrible , there were only 3-4 items in the menu. If you order eggs it would take ages to come. We almost missed our safari as the breakfast timing was from 8 to 10 AM and by 8 AM also nothing would be ready. If you ask them to make chicken they would take an hr or two prepare the dish. The restaurant staff as well as the front desk staff was rude . There was only one female staff in the entire property.

Recent stayed at the Gir Lion Resort. The rooms are clean and well equipped. The views was stunning. The location is very nice, it is close to the Gir forest entrance, approximately 12minutws and the surroundings are studying with the Hiren river flowing behind the property. The gardens and pool area are well maintained. The staff provide a very good service and happy to help! Food was very good and chef was accommodating with our requests. I would be happy to come again. Only negative was that there is construction going on however that does disturb the residents.

Nicely located near Hiran river. Good rooms, useful amenities, good play area for kids, delicious food, conveniently located near surrounding tourist places and very supportive staff. Enjoyed very much.

It was wonderful stay at Kanj Gir Lion resort. It's very close to Gir Lion Safari point, just 10mins drive. Resort has many amenities and kids really enjoyed. Cottage rooms are clean and gives beautiful river view. Staff is excellent, very polite and always smiling.
