If I could, they would get less than one star. After checking in,we had gone to our car to get our bags.As we were bypassing the lobby ( back entrWhen we turned to go around the corner to our room,he stopped and turned toward us.I was so PETRIFIED that I made my husband hurry to get the door unlocked,We rushed in and slammed the door.I was afraid he was going to try to follow us in!! Also, the bathroom had tiny bugs walking all over the bathroom floor. There was also a hole in the bottom of the molding which is prolly where they were nesting.I got up in te night to go to the bathroom and found cockroaches running when I turned the light on.NOT ONLY will I never stay at that place,I will never stay at another LaQuinta. Too bad because we stayed at one in California and loved it.
Property has deteriorated badly

They claim its under renovation? Majority of rooms are sub-acceptable. Lower court yard section seems to be inhabited by homeless individuals - trash everywhere! This IS a pet friendly property but this place has gone to the dogs!

We are pretty loyal to La Quinta because we often travel with our dog, and she can stay for free with us. We also are used to La Quintas being nice- not fancy but clean, comfortable and affordable. This one was affordable (with tax $83 for one night) but that’s it. Our room smelled damp- they really should check for mold. It wasn’t dirty but not exactly clean either and super dated (I really don’t care about dated decor, but it’s worth mentioning). There was barely any water pressure and the water got warm-ish. One of the towels in our room was dirty. In the middle of the night I found a COCKROACH in the bathroom. Nope nope nope. We will never stay here again. I know when you’re traveling with a dog, beggars can’t be choosers, but don’t charge $75 a night if you’re going to have a $40/night value. Lower your prices if you’re going to have damp rooms with bugs and filthy towels.
Do not book here

Hotel is disrepair. Manager acts like she wants you to go elsewhere. They do not honor reservations. Manager sat on the phone and ignored us. Basically dared us to leave. If it was not late, and if we had not been on the road all day we would have left. Go to red roof and get better service and a better room.
No fridge or microwave in double bed rooms. At checkout was told I could have gotten them for $10 extra.

Thank goodness for DoorDash due to no microwave or fridge in my room. Bed was a little lumpy but slept ok. The staff was very friendly and helpful and the overall experience was good. Easy access to I10
