Certainly a disappointment for the money

Travelled to Tallahassee to visit my daughter. It was parents weekend and a game weekend so everything was very crowded. The room rate was $239 normally $80-90. Expected it to be higher due to the activity at the university. However, even on a basic level I was disappointed at the hotel. The hotel is dated. Our room was very small, carpet was stained and dirty, stains on the comforter. Shower pressure was good. Our TV was out (no video signal) when we arrived. Went to front desk, could not fix and said someone would be by in the morning. In the morning it was working until my wife turned on the hairdryer. We tried 6 times and each time the TV lost the signal. Hotel said it was coincidence. Came back the second night to finish watching football and it was out again. Hotel did adjust my bill some $50 but certainly not worth being able to watch the end of the Auburn / Tennessee game. (My wife is a Auburn alumni) We certainly will not be staying there again. For $80 you get what you pay for for $239, absolutely not.
Clean nothing spectacular

Needed a place to lay our heads after 13hrs of driving. The room was clean, beds ok, bathroom and shower was clean. The rest of the hotel really needs attention. Breakfast was honey buns type pastry and a yogurt cups. There is a juice machine.

Our first time staying at a Sleep Inn. Even though this hotel needs updating, it was perfect for our stay. Price was good compared to other hotels due to a FSU graduation. The shower area was a little small, but the shower had amazing water pressure. The room was clean, quiet and the bed was super comfortable. The staff was very nice and checkout was a breeze.

Upon my arrival 2/5/2020 was greeted with a smile, and pleasantly by night auditor on positive side. Then went down hill from there. Walking through hallway to my room #125 bottom floor could notice that carpet was very unclean. Entered room and was small but understood that for price. Bathroom was unacceptable in standard due to shower stall having white duck tape on top of floor in shower itself believed to be a break or Crack. Toilet when flushed would stay running and I had to open lid and reset flush handle. I would have asked for different room but knowing that all were probably the same. Breakfast was moderate, but lady running dinning area was great and personable to all that entered another positive with all negatives. I would not stay here again and would recommend paying the difference to other hotels for cleaness and peace of mind. Staff was the best thing going for Sleep Inn.
clean and comfortable

Although the room was quite small, it was well located (just off I10) and had comfortable beds. The free breakfast was lovely but the feature that sold us was the security. There were only 2 doorways into the premises, both visible to the main desk. All corridors were internal. In addition, our room did not abut the parking lot and so was very quiet. The $25.00 pet fee made the room a little pricey compared to other comparable pet friendly motels. We appreciated the mini-frig , microwave and room safe in our room.
