When i arrive at the hotel, the pictures that i saw in the internet from the hotel are very diferent. The hotel is old, all run down, no good looks. The reception could not solve my problems, I ended up canceling my two reservations. I do not recommend this hotel.
Avoid the accommodations but the banquet service is recommendable

My husband is from the area and we are there at least once a year. This year we planned a special family event and moved from our usual beach hotel to be able to host a party indoors, beachside. The front desk staff could not be less attentive. It is obvious that they are not held accountable for their work. The center of the hotel is open all the way to the top floor and staff regularly yelled from the upper floors down to the front desk. The hotel is very dirty, both in common areas and in rooms. It looked as if they swept the dirt/sand from the rooms into the main corridors and then didn't bother to sweep it up. There were hairs, toilet paper, all kinds of things in the corridors that remained in place all eight nights we stayed. Frankly, it was disgusting. We had a balcony with a door that blew open with the slightest beach wind and had gaping holes all around it. There was an ant infestation. The sheets and towels were all stained and nearly threadbare. Many places throughout the hotel smell like raw sewage. The air conditioning in our room was either on or off, the actual thermostat didn't work. The TV was a nice flat screen but you don't get many channels and the TV in our friend's room never worked. The toilet paper holder was stuck open while the one in my mom's room was stuck closed and the industrial toilet paper roll sat on top of the towel bar. The pools are nice but have very little lounge chairs. The beach area in front has no palapas or beach service like the hotels down the boulevard. The included breakfast is very limited but the coffee is decent as long as you don't need it served with a smile. All the rooms that I saw were larger than the average hotel room. I was super concerned that we made a mistake in hiring the hotel for our two parties. However, the attention and the food in the events was the only redeeming part of our stay. The food was delicious, the decorations just as we required, and the service was super. The hotel was built in the last 12 years but looks like it is 40 years old. It is much too large for current management to maintain and is an accident waiting to happen. I cannot recommend it for anyone. I would be surprised if it is able to stay open much longer. The rooms are at rock bottom prices so they certainly can't remodel without more income. It is a sad situation.

We stayed one night at the hotel and it was horrible. The hotel is very worn out. The decoration is very outdated, the AC was so noisy is sounded like a plane, the sheet had stains, there was no hot water, you could barely see anything in the TV and the bathroom was not properly cleaned. We wanted to leave so quickly we even didn't try the breakfast.
Kind service, nice swimmingpool, smell DDT

We went on June for a wedding in the beach, but the hotel for the wedding was full so we book online this hotel, I didn´t like the room even was realy spacious and clean, but without windows, and the smell of DDT hit me since we arrive, we had to open the door all day instead of the smell go out but without success. In the other hand, the service was really nice (like almost in every place in Mexico), the beach was beautiful & clean, and they have 2 swimming pools"

We booked on-line and travelled 7 hours from San Luis Potosi. On arrival the first thing to hit you was the smell of sewage in the arrival area. We checked in thinking that the smell would not affect us in our rooms. The rooms were musty with mould on the ceiling, cracked and missing tiles in the bathrooms and damo-smelling bedding. We checked out immediately and moved to the Maeve further down the beach. It was off-season and they were carrying out repairs, but we found it uninhabitable. We cannot comment upon facilties or food quality as we were not prepared to endure it.
