For This Visit

Reviewed 19 january, 2023

I stay at this resort a couple times a year to visit family. It has a wonderful location at the edge of the Plaza and shops. This Visit I unfortunately had to book a studio unit, with Murphy bed. TINY. The mattress is old and hard. The ceiling lights did not work. The refrigerator leaked water into all my groceries. Sleeping was impossible due to neighbor noise.

Good location

Very nice resort. Small rooms, but big enough for a couple. Summer would be less of an issue, we had all our ski gear. Nice location next to an art museum, restaurants, and taverns. Be aware, in the winter most of Taos establishments are closed Tuesday’s & Wednesday’s.

Taos any time of year

First time visiting in winter. It was great even though some establishments are closed at this time of the year. Traffic is less and easier to get around This location is close to everything. Can walk to most places you will want to go.

Beautiful Resort in Downtown Taos

Reviewed 4 november, 2022

This is a beautiful resort located down the street from downtown Taos. The facilities are nicely decorated and well-kept and the resort is very quiet considering its central location. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Our unit was a studio with a Murphy bed and while comfortable and clean, it was small and located in an inside corner, so very little natural light. I would not recommend more than a few days if you stay in one of these units.

Just OK

We are Worldmark owners. Had never stayed at this location before, but decided to stay one night on our way back to Colorado from the Albuquerque Balloon Fiesta. First off, it’s a little tricky to find. If you search for Worldmark Taos in Google Maps, you won’t find it… it is under Club Wyndham Taos. From the main road, I had to second guess myself if I took the correct turn. If not for my GPS, I would have easily missed the turn. After returning to the resort after dinner, I did see the small sign at the entrance that said Worldmark, which I did not notice the first time. Would definitely help to have better signage. Next thing, the road and parking lot are not paved. Instead they use little rocks. I actually think I’d prefer a dirt road over the rocks. The outside of the building, like most of Taos, features a Pueblo style look. Maybe just me, but I kind of thought it looked more like an office building than a resort. The inside of the building was fine, clean and up to Worldmark standards. No washer and dryer in the unit, but there is a large laundry room with a bunch of washer and dryers (I can’t remember the exact number, but I think around 10 machines). I found it strange that the fireplace was placed in the bedroom and not the living room. Our family ended up watching TV in the bedroom so we could enjoy the fireplace too (it was pretty, but I also didn’t think it ever got very hot). The pool was also closed during our trip. From the looks of it, I believe the pool has been closed for a long time. The only other negative I have is that every time we walked into the lobby, there was no staff member in sight. I don’t think there is a lot of staff at this location. Michael was very friendly and helpful… however, he wasn’t always sitting at the desk. I think he was constantly walking around the resort to check on it. It never took him too long to return to the desk, but it did require waiting. I don’t think I’d return to this location anytime soon… possibly just as a place to sleep for the night if taking a road trip (like with this last trip).
