Reservamos dos habitaciones en el Hotel La Quinta en Temple, Texas. Ambas habitaciones estaban mal. Con cabellos en la ducha, un ruido mecánico por las noches viniendo del techo. No había suficiente personal en el mostrador. La misma damita (una dama mayor) trataba de trabajar en el mostrador y entregando toallas. Priceline sólo ofrecía hoteles en Temple de hasta 2 estrellas, pero hay un lindo Hilton Garden y Hampton Inn.

The hotel rooms were squeaky clean and it was nice to be able just to drive to the door. The breakfast was adequate. The front desk lady was extremely pleasant and besides checking us in, she was training a new employee. She was very patient and encouraging for the new lady.

Recently remodeled and they did a wonderful job. Clean, comfortable with a hot breakfast! What more could you ask for. The staff was pleasant, polite and eager to please. Plenty of free parking. Convenient to a major highway but far enough away so noise was not a problem.

Decent motel. Nothing spectacular. The room was clean. Breakfast was ok, but not great-- no scrambled eggs/bacon/sausage for protein, only hard boiled eggs which you have to peel yourself. Other than that, they have pancakes, cereal, toast, oatmeal, muffins, bananas... All in all, the stay was ok. It served its purpose for a one night stay. Best part was that we could bring our dog for no upfront fee (cleaning fees may apply after your stay). Dutch Bros Coffee, Chick-Fil-A, Whataburger, and Black Rifle Coffee are all within walking distance (very close). Bed was ok, but I found the pillows to be a little lackluster.

I reserved a room at this hotel the first of August for a September 16-18 visit. Room with a king sized bed was reserved, as my wife and I are rather large. When I got to the hotel, the manager told me that the people who had the room before us decided to stay and our room was not available. He offered me a room with a full sized bed. When I told him this was unacceptable, he said "oh well, you are out of luck" and turned his back to me. It is apparent that this hotel does not honor its reservations. Reserve this hotel with extreme caution and have a back up plan. I would recommend the Holiday Inn in Killeen. It is only another 20 minutes down the road, but cheaper rates and a much nicer hotel and staff.
