Never felt more like home
Personally, when I was driving there for the first time, I thought myself at least three times I should canceled this booking. But don't be scared by this narrow roads up there! There is so much awaiting for your there. This hotel is so calm, and spacious, welcoming home. Exactly, it's more like home than hotel. It's run but most lovely couple, who will do everything to make you relaxed and happy. I was happily surprised by the size of the room, attention to details (every furniture is of value and in its own place), and really great bathroom of at least 4 stars hotel. And the legends about the breakfast :)) yes, it's great as it has been said! And you can enjoy it in gentle morning light, listening to birds and feeling the light breeze coming from hills.

We came twice to this hôtel 1 week each time in march 17 and 18. Hanibal welcomed us like friends. This place is friendly,quite,clean. Large rooms with spacious terrasse. Very generous breakfast. We felt like at home. Thank you again ! Jocelyne and steve
Lovely quiet bed and breakfast
We stayed here for a week as a base to do some walking mostly. It is a lovely little hotel, not the easiest to find but it was worth it. As noted in other reviews, don't try and make the extreme hairpin turn at the end, carry on and use the nearby car park to turn around. Really nice breakfast each morning, with a buffet of fresh bread, pastries, etc. You can also book dinner in the evenings as the hotel doubles as a restaurant. Our room had a little stone terrace with great views out the back. The owner is really friendly, speaks excellent English, and is knowledgeable about activities on the island if you need any advice on what to do (and there is plenty!). There is free wifi which is useful for looking up information on activites etc, but note the signal is flaky due to the age of the building (ie very thick stone walls) The location is quite rural, so easiest if you have a car to get out and about. The central location means it doesn't take too long to get anywhere.
Just great
After some tries we found the right and easy route to this lovely Finca. How to describe right place right time? We enjoyed our 6 night stay thoroughly from beginning to end. Clean, quiet, great setting, great restaurant, lovely staff. Do not miss it!
Characteristic hotel which is hard to find without navigation
Nicely situated, quiet, characteristic but simple hotel. No TV. Guimar is a city with many narrow one way streets which makes it difficult to find the hotel. The best way to get there is by the Calle Iglesias. Turn left at the sign "Rural Hotel" (no mention of "La Raya" into a very narrow street, cross the bridge, turn left. The Calle Raya is on the right under 270 degrees: to sharp a corner to manage directly. Hence continue to a Plaza and turn around.
