Overnight stay away on car buying trip, stayed here couple of times, very nice hotel in lovely surrounding, rooms very nicely done , Nespresso machine a nice touch in room, spotless clean, ate in restaurant for dinner, very very good food but very very small portions, all served by polite friendly staff, all covid precautions covered, breakfast also very good, all in all lovely short stay.

Spent 2 nights here with members of my family. The hotel was very Covid aware - all staff wore masks, there was hand sanitiser available everywhere, the bedrooms were left unvisited by housekeeping unless otherwise requested. All of the staff were friendly & helpful and really could not have done more to make sure we were happy and looked after. The rooms were nicely decorated & the beds very comfortable. Food was well cooked and nicely presented. Beautiful grounds with lovely views. Well positioned for Tewkesbury and the Cotswolds. Forgot your wellies on a rainy day? No problem - borrow a pair from the hotel. Need some music? Play a melody on the grand piano. Would not hesitate to book again.
Dog friendly but NOT human friendly

Genuinely dog friendly which was great (lots of lovely touches in the room and friendly welcome) but sadly the human experience left much to be desired! The hotel is totally disorganised and severely lacking in maintenance in the rooms. On arrival other guests were having to complain about issues in their room. The walls are paper thin and in desperate need of soundproofing - we had one very loud couple to the side and noisy kids running and wild the entire time in room above. The dog friendly rooms are down two flights of stairs and think this should be made clearer on the website - one of my dogs doesn’t do stairs! These rooms are also far from reception so the phone not working in the room was a real nuisance. Especially as they didn’t respond to messages in the app which the hotel literally hounds you to download! Or answer email or the phone (tried three times with long waits). The staff in general were lazy, inattentive and mostly unprofessional which surprised me considering the clientele they’re clearly trying to attract. The staff are clearly just there for the paycheck, and the female waitress in particular, with long waits to get any service and a really bad attitude. Guests seem to be a complete inconvenience. Dinner was a disaster! Barely anything for vegans (or simply healthy) and my supposedly vegan risotto came laced with parmesan (which isn’t even vegetarian) so although I didn’t eat it, I can say with confidence it wasn’t worth the £18 price tag! Looked more like something you’d expect from a weatherspoons. I had to eat very late in the end outside of the hotel so wasn’t best pleased. Never heard from the management who are ultimately responsible for all of these issues. It’s a really badly run hotel! The grounds are lovely and despite being mostly golf course you are able to walk around the edges and with dogs. Needless to say though, we will not be returning.

We spent three nights here as a family using the spa and the golf club. It is a nice hotel with lovely staff and we had a great stay. The spa treatment was lovely. Breakfast was nice. We did not have dinner in the restaurant because we wanted to explore the town so cannot comment on dinner.
High quality golf break

Just home from a wonderful golf break (2 couples) at Tewkesbury Park, and already decided we need to come again! From the initial enquiry a few months ago, to the time we left yesterday, the whole experience was great, with lots of very professional staff in all parts of the hotel. Booking what we wanted was straight forward via their golf organiser Alex, who made sure that we got the rooms we wanted. The hotel exudes customer care, starting with the professional welcome at Reception. Our room was clean and well appointed, with a large and very comfortable bed, and all the complimentary services you expect. The bathroom, although not large, was clean and bright, with a bath and double head shower; plenty of hot water, and good quality towels. Dinner was impressive. The menu was extensive, and imaginative, and the food itself tasty and well prepared and presented. Lots of table staff, who were well trained and helpful. Good wine selection, at reasonable prices. Breakfast also impressed, with a wide range of juices, smoothies, cereals, yoghurts and breads, as well as a hot buffet which was served (rather than being self-service). Quality was good. We really enjoyed the golf course, which was well presented and in very good condition. It's both interesting and challenging, whilst at the same time being eminently playable. Fairways are wide, rough not too penal, and bunkers in good condition. The only slight disappointment was the range of food available in No. 19 Cafe, which was restricted to savoury food such as sausage rolls and sandwiches; this may well have been a Covid-related restriction. Our small group enjoyed all aspects of our stay here, and are already thinking about visiting again next year. The personal touch which is often the hallmark of a family-run establishment was very much in evidence here, and we all agreed that this was the best golf break we've had in the UK. Well done to all at Tewkesbury Park, you made our stay very enjoyable.
