The hotel was nice and quiet. The room was spacious and clean. The breakfast was very good and lots of choices. I liked the hours too; 5:30am to 10am which allows you to leave early and still have a meal. There was a good restaurant in town, E&W , good value and tasty.
Sweet little home away from home

We booked into the Three Hills Super 8 as a way to save money rather than pay almost double to stay right in Drumheller. When we first pulled up we were a little worried by the dated stucco and tired appearance of the exterior but the inside was surprising. Our room was clean, quiet and comfy. We thought because the hotel is right next to the freeway that it might be noisy but it wasn't. The ladies at the front desk were wonderful. The pool area was great! Pool, hottub and waterside! Our stay was lovely.
2 small things to improve.
Breakfast was okay.
Pool was a bit on the cold side.

Staff and owners were absolutely wonderful not just to me, but to everyone who talked through the door even kids! Having breakfast prepared every morning with juices coffee and snacks was perfect for a small town hotel. Room was always cleaned and they always made sure I was comfortable or to see if needed anything.
If you're here for the waterslide, you should know...

The photos show laminate flooring in the rooms – if this is important to you for whatever reason, make sure to mention this when booking as our room had carpet. If you are travelling with children, please know that the waterslide is located in the deep end of the pool – if your kids love waterslides but are not strong swimmers, they may be disappointed (the water was too deep for our kids - which we found out the hard way. As one needs to stay well clear of the area at the base of the waterslide to avoid collisions, this limited where our kids could play in the pool). The breakfast was decent – the staff certainly work hard to keep everything flowing. The family slept really well, which is important. If you’re using the alarm on your phone to wake, and are accustomed to having your alarm on the nightstand by you while in bed, be mindful to charge your phone before bed (our room didn’t have power outlets near the head of the bed and there was no alarm clock). Oh, and the water tastes funky (it's likely a quality of the water in the area and this would be out of the control of the hotel - but it's good to know) so be prepared to get water from the convenience store located in the parking lot.
Really, it’s the customer service that we experienced here that makes the place.
Excellent stay with a very good breakfast

We stayed in this hotel for a recent conference in Three Hills. The rooms were very clean - and also had a microwave, iron, and fridge (which worked well!), dvd player etc.
Our room was on the second floor near the back of the hotel and it seemed recently painted as well the bathroom had been recently cauked indicating that they are striving to keep their rooms fresh.
On of our biggest concerns in hotels is the air conditioning. We turned our air conditioner on maximum during the night and froze - it was perfect!!!
The hot tub was ok, we prefer it a little bit hotter - but it was huge and also very clean. The pool itself was quite warm and the waterslide was fun (even for us adults). The exercise room, although small, is quite well equipped - only missing a water dispenser.
The breakfast was one of the best things about this hotel. Each day we stayed, the breakfast was a little bit different. It's not just croissants and an apple! It's a full hot breakfast - eggs, omlettes, perogies, sausage, bacon, bagels, waffles, toast, yogurt, cereal, GOOD coffee. And breakfast is included!
My only complaint was the fire alarm went off - but that wasn't an inconvenience and the staff was very apologetic.
I'd highly recommend this hotel for families. Lots of breakfast food for picky kids and a great pool area. Staff/Owners are multilingual.
