Golf course under repair
the club, staff and facilities are great, the course was under maintenance and very disappointing on the first 9 with temporary tees, if we had have known that the course was like this we would have played at another course, at the very least a discount should have been provided, food was great, the red belly black snake a little disconcerting
Motel Average
Stayed at the Thurgoona Golf Club Resort Motel, well a bit disappointed, room just ok, no electric blankets for the very cold night, split system does not work well. Continental breakfast could be presented a lot better as it was just left on the bench as well as replenished which did not happen had to ask for replenishment as we were there for a week. Floor was not vacuumed for the week. The door to get in motel room terrible had to put your shoulder to door to open then had to slam door for it to shut. And very dull room for light needs a brighter light in bed area very dark.
The best Roast Pork or Beef - and only $10 !!
The bistro serves the best roast pork & roast beef between Sydney & Melbourne !! $7 for lunch & $10 for dinner. Tony the chef knows how to cook the best roast . And the pork crackling is sensational ….
GREATPLACE FOR ANNUAL GET TOGETHER
The rooms are very well appointed, the staff are friendly and helpful.The staff at the club were very good when one of our number fell..thanks Natash and /wendy. Alaways the facilities are good exceot this time the spa was not working.
Visited the Bistro
My family enjoyed a meal here on Saturday night, we felt it was pretty quiet we ordered from the car very for adult meals ( well priced) and pizza for our children, we ordered for the kids in advance and they played in the kids room, fortunately they were occupied because the wait for the pizza was decent ( it was nice when it arrived but all the dining adults had well and truly finished their meal) my husband did approach servers staff and was reassured it would be long but it wasn’t a friendly interaction The carvery was a good honest roast/ lamb shank.
