As I was leaving the hotel to go present at a board meeting, I discovered my rental car wouldn't start. I only had 10 minutes before the meeting started, so no time for uber/cab, etc. I explained my situation to the front desk and they offered to drive me to my meeting, saving me from an awkward situation. Judy was incredibly helpful and they even offered to try to jump start my car. The hotel is conveniently located near many goods and services with easy access to the highway. Marriott properties are consistently good and this one was no exception.
Dated and disappointed

We had a suite. The room was dated and somewhat clean. There was no evidence that any extra consideration was done to sanitize the room other than the three packets of small sanitizing wipes on the bathroom sink. There was no flatware in our kitchen area, sealed disposable flatware would have been acceptable. The biggest disappointment happened when I showered. The tub held the water from my shower, I stood in my shower water. It was located close the highway and on a mainstreet that allowed me to pick up food items for the kitchenette.
Dated room not very clean

My family went to Topeka over Labor Day weekend to visit the evil Knievel museum. We found the Residence Inn Topeka rooms a bit dated and our room was not very clean. Check in was Pleasant but it appeared as though employees were parking all evening in the designated loading and unloading parking space. Our next visit we will stay at the nearby Marriott courtyard hotel.
Staff Wonderful! Hotel Dated a Little

With a family of 5 with three teenagers we like staying in hotels with extra room. The Residence Inn Topeka rooms were spacious and clean. The door into the room had several scrapes on it though and the hotel seems to be showing its age a little bit. The staff however, made up for it with outstanding service from check-in to check-out and everything in between. Breakfast was good but limited because of covid but the room felt very clean.
Great Rooms - spacious, clean and modern

We got a double king - which is a rare find at hotels. With 3 kids this works out well. (Also a pull out). Two bathrooms and a nice kitchen/ living area. Great for someone staying for an extended period of time. Rooms were modern, spacious and clean. Front desk staff was extremely polite and helpful. Breakfast bags were prepared due to covid - and staff was wearing masks. Very impressed overall - and total the room was around $180 which seemed reasonable. Would stay here again for sure
