Beautiful scenery and peaceful

Reviewed 24 october, 2021

I visited Silencio Lodge with my friends and had a beautiful time there. The hotel is located in a peaceful lot at the beginning of Bajos del Toro with several trails to walk around and experience nature. You definitely want to check the hummingbird garden! Aside from this, the staff at the restaurant were very kind to point out other day trips we could do nearby. The rooms were very cozy. The area is often times rainy and we enjoyed sleeping at night in the warm blankets listening to the drops fall on the roof. I would love to come back. :)

Enchanting paradise

Reviewed 16 october, 2021

My family of four stayed for three nights in early July. It was beautiful and fantastic! The road from San Jose is a bit nerve wracking to drive, but it’s all worth it when you get there. The staff are wonderful and the restaurant serves delicious food. We were upgraded to a 3 bedroom Villa - far bigger than we needed, with a huge living room and full size kitchen. But it was wonderful to have the space - and the views were incredible. The spa treatment was great as was yoga out on the pavilion. The hikes around the property are beautiful - and it’s wonderful to go swim in the waterfalls. It felt like this was a bit of a hidden gem off the normal American tourist track. I hope it stays that way.

Honeymooners paradise

This was an actual paradise. Worth every kilometre of rough road that leads to there. The staff are amazing. The honeymoon suit, everything was thought of. The staff, they couldn’t have been any nicer

A gem of a place

We stayed with our 15 year old twin boys for 4 nights. Booked kind of last minute and only found it by googling around, trying to find a luxury hotel not too far away from San Jose. We made our booking through the hotel's chat function. Victoria Campos handled our booking efficiently. A bid shout out to Luis Leiva and Estefany in the restaurant, the entire eco-concierge staff, Seleny and Paola at the Spa. This was one of most hospitable places we have ever been.

Honeymoon of our dreams

Reviewed 21 september, 2021

We stayed in one of the suites for three nights. On our first day, my wife and I couldn't believe how incredible this experience was and it got better everyday. From the food to the employees, to the experiences, everything was perfect. We love our room, and the hike to the onsite waterfalls. We plan on coming back and bringing our friends and family. This sustainable and luxury nature resort is a must-visit.
