Stayed here for two nights prior to a trip elsewhere in Canada. The hotel is modern and rooms are lovely - newly renovated and very large and comfortable. Biggest issue came with breakfast - this was included in my room rate as clearly stated on the Agoda confirmation. The surly lady at the front house of the restaurant insisted it was not and told me to take it up with front desk as ‘the restaurant is separate to the hotel’. Front desk then claimed ‘breakfast is never included’ in their rates and proceeded to try and convince me for 15 minutes that ‘breakfast included’ just means the hotel offers breakfast, not that it’s included for free. Sir, this is a five star hotel, I think it goes without saying that breakfast would be offered! In the end I had to show them the different options on the Agoda site (different prices for breakfast included and not included) to convince them. Ridiculous to try and argue with guests over this when it’s clearly stated in the booking confirmation, making me feel as if I was trying to scam a free breakfast. A further issue came with the spa service. I had tried to book a treatment a week before arriving but there was already very little availability. I managed to book a massage, only for it to be cancelled on the day ‘due to Covid’ and they automatically booked me a manicure instead (which is in no way similar). I would expect that a five star hotel such as St Regis would have back-up plans in place if someone catches Covid or just hire more staff. No apology or compensation was offered for this or the breakfast fiasco, and I’m sorry but 2 years after the pandemic started it’s not good enough to use it as an excuse for poor service or poor performance (which to be fair I’ve seen in multiple hotels not just this one). Overall, I liked the room a lot but the service was not up to the standard expected and next time I will probably pay slightly more and stay in the Four Seasons instead.
Extraordinary experience, first class and more than 5 star!!

We have always wanted to try the St. Regis to spoil ourselves a little. We were on return from Jamaica, Westjet cancelled our connecting flight stranding us in Toronto. We were exhausted so we booked the St.Regis downtown. From the time we walked in, we were treated like a King and Queen. George, the bellman was a true gentleman, not letting us lift a finger let alone a bag! We approached the check in counter and were greeted by Signoree Scully, the front desk manager. She greeted us with a smile and made us feel so special. My wife and I are Marriott members, our level allowing a room upgrade if available. Signoree went above and beyond, getting us set up in a suite with a tasty treat! This truly turned around all of the misfortune we experienced during this trip. Checking out, Pamela looked after everything, smiling every minute. Thank you Signoree, George and Pamela for making this a 5 star experience. Thank you for your kindness. If you are in Toronto, this is where you need to stay here.

This is our first stay at St. Regis Toronto and we had high expectations in it. The stay turned out to be exceptional, particularly the responsiveness of the Butler service! We also had the weekend afternoon tea, which both the quality of food and service was excellent too! We definitely will stay again for our next vacation.

I payed for a room with city view, the advertisement has a room with a beautiful view of the city, but, instead, they put me in a room with a terrible view of a really nearby office building, which is the only thing that I am allowed to see when looking outside from the window of my room. The shower has 2 douches, one at the celling and one at the wall, when using one of then the other one starts leaking a very cold water at the person that is using the shower, and, besides that, when using the shower, the door from the bathroom box doesn't closes properly, which causes the whole bathroom floor to be completely wet when we go outside. And, when we tried talking to the guests services they didn't solve our problem, they instead tried to charge us a big amount to be moved to a new room, I am extremely disappointed with the St Regis hotel, this clearly makes this place to be far from being a five stars hotel.

Our new favorite hotel in Toronto. St.Regis met all of our expectations...food at Louix Louis was very good...service was excellent. The rooms were quiet, comfortable with a great view of the financial district. Loved the central location...
