Disappointing stay…. Recommend you stay elsewhere…

Been a while since we stayed at the Harbour Castle, and will not be back anytime soon. Positive, great location Negatives….. Will say this hotel needs help. Crazy busy, and they have no idea how to manage the volume. Parking was a challenge, and expensive. Check in was very slow, over 15 minutes. Have Bonvoy elite status, and still got a poor room, right by the elevator Took 8 to 10 minutes every time we took the elevator, because of the crowd On the way down from the room to the lobby, stopped on almost every floor, felt sorry for all those people unable to get on the elevator. (Westin…. FYR the is technology to help with busy elevators….) We are Westin hotel fans, but this one needs improvement…… Very disappointed…….

Great Location, Motel-like Service, Old Amenities

Could be a bad coincidence, but: > Called up the hotel to confirm that CN Tower view room is available. Front Desk confirmed yes > Reached at 4PM to check in to end up in a long-drawn-queue worse than an airport terminal > Requested for CN Tower view or at least high floor, to which the (irritated) front desk staff said - NO. After a long wait, he managed to get me a high floor but not CN Tower as I had requested. I was fine with that seeing the pressure of guests in lobby > After more than 45 minutes of wait in the queue + check-in, I got a small room which had literally NO amenity (not even towels and slippers) and wasn't cleaned properly > When I called the Front Desk for basic amenities including water, he just hung up The only good thing about the hotel was: Prime location and Chat-room

We have stayed at the hotel many times but it has been a couple of years since we were there. Hotel was advertised as having recently renovated rooms. We arrived and went to our room in the South tower which you could tell as you left the elevator was not recently renovated. The rooms were old,run down and definitely not worth the price, I contacted the front desk and the front desk staff notified me that a few years ago the North tower was renovated after a water leak. We were transferred to the North wing which was like going into a total different hotel. North wing would be a 3.5 star and the South wing a 1.5 - 2 star at best. If you have to stay defiantly request the North wing.

Stayed here for 1 night for the Genesis gig. Really close to scotiabank arena which is good. Paid $370 for a balcony room. When we entered the hotel there is line up to check in but it did go down quickly. The parking is a bit of a nightmare as you have to park yourself which is onsite at the hotel, but it's a really tight parking lot and you then walk down the ramps back to the hotel. When I got to the room, there was 2 pizza boxes, another take away box and a stack of coke cans right outside the door. There was also a linen trolley there. When we got in the room, the floor was dirty and there was hair on the floor in the bathroom. I called reception and we changed rooms to the north tower from the south tower. It was clean but took a while to understand how to open the balcony door as the lock was broken. The elevators look a bit run down too. If you could get it for a decent price I would stay but only as so convenient to the scotiabank. I would not pay over 200 dollars again though

Not a very good time

So, we booked package online that included parking, when arrived none available so had to park down the block, then long line ups to check in so though would use app and it gave option to check in but nope didnt happen any faster..then check in took a good 15 minutes between getting 60.00 off our room.rate because of parking and the agent finding a gas card that also came with our package. Then didnt have long to get ready for tml game, but made it. Scotiabank arena was close and definitely walking distance so that was nice. I had requested high floor near elevator to no avail our room was suppose to be a city view but we had lake view. Bed was comfy, room a bit outdated but not bad. Dusty though. Banging, partying, doors slamming all night kept me up most of night.
