We arrived tired, after experiencing some travel delays and had a nightime layover long enough to get about eight hours of sleep if all went well. Just by luck, we waited less than 5 minutes for the shuttle; they seem to cycle through faster than the other shuttles, according to the posted schedules. Within an hour of landing, we had been shuttled to the hotel, checked in, dropped our bags in the room, had eaten supper in the restaurant, and were on our way to our room to turn in for the night. It could not have gone better/faster. Our meal was very good too. The short ribs were full of flava flava and the Lot 9 fish n' chips was absolutely excellent. This was a totally unexpected meal since it was just before closing and there were hardly any people in the restaurant. The room was nice, clean, quiet... and the bed was comfortable. I gotta admit I hardly remember it though. I think I fell asleep on the way to the bed and fell on it. The morning shuttle was right on time and checkoout was super fast. I'd stay here again in a heartbeat. And I'd have the fish n' chips again too.

Lied about charges

My flight with LOT on the night of Dec 24/Dec25 was cancelled and I was placed in this hotel for free of charge until the next flight could be arranged. All passengers were given vouchers for breakfast and lunch meals. I was told, after having a conversation with the manager (Black gentlemen, name starts with S) that the vouchers will cover the total cost of each meal. He promised this personally and approached me again to say that he spoke with LOT airlines and that all passengers will endure NO CHARGE AT ALL for the food service. And, days later I found out that this hotel still proceeded with charges. There is no email on their website, and I am still away from Canada, so I can't place a long-distance call to speak to this hotel, well, nor should I really. So, this me reaching out in a way. Hoping that they might pay attention to the reviews.

Wanted to let you know I’ll be giving the 901 Dixon Marriot a 5 star review. After our flight was cancelled we were scrambling to get a hotel room and the Marriott has been a truly wonderful experience. The staff, particularly Ankit , the front desk employee are truly remarkable and deserve some recognition, the only person who knew what we were going thru and made us feel relaxed and provided us with late checkout and coffee vouchers for morning . Also helped with printing our covid results and boarding pass. We will be recommending our stay here because the service is so fantastic.

Bed bugs on night of November 27, 2021 - no sleep for me

The title says it all. As I left my room after no sleep at 3am after my initial freakout, pack up, shower, get ready all over again to check out, I was met at reception by a polite staff member who said "bed bugs don't happen that often here." My bill was wiped clean, one night stay and a cheap dinner the night before. I have not received any communication from any management there. Not any inquiry, not any message by management with care or concern. No offer of any additional compensation. I was offered a different room but explained that after that experience, how could I sleep there? I had no where to go at 3am, the airport with no lounges open. I sat in the lobby in the wee hours of the morning working. I was absolutely exhausted once I flew that morning and finally returned home. I'll give credit to Alice in the restaurant who saw me at 4:30am and offered to make me a coffee and feed me something. I had a latte and bagel on the house. She was a sweetie and apologized for my rough, attempted stay. I'll note the room temp was also very hot, never changed on the dial, no matter what I pressed at 13.5. Room stayed at 22. Also, the bed was saggy and uncomfortable.

Stayed here a night before leaving on a trip to the Caribbean. Had an early flight out, showering was impossible as there was only HOT water in the shower no cold. Was too late to advise front desk to change rooms at that point.
