Hotel Hafnia

In the mid-twentieth century Christian Restorff started building a new hotel in Thorshavn. The hotel opened in 1951 and was named "Hafnia". The following decades the hotel expanded drastically, and as time went Hotel Hafnia became the biggest hotel in the Faroe Islands. In 1988 the sons of Christian took over the company, following the footsteps of their father. Johan and Martin Christian were running the hotel with Johan as the director.
