We stayed here for 2 nights. We could hear the people in the next room next to us talking. The walls seem paper thin! We could hear the people above us which sounded like they were moving furniture around. We booked the room with breakfast but when we got there we were told breakfast is an additional £8 each! (Toby carvery down the road was much better!) reception closes at 8 then it’s a nightmare trying to get into the building! We wanted to use the hot tub. But the hot tub was closed. Same with the sauna. Pool was open, however only allowed maximum of 2 people for the pool which is a nightmare! With the lack of sleep and uncomfortable bed we were left rather disappointed.

Great hospitality. Beautiful staff. Very amenable and accommodating. At short notice, they were able to provide facilities in order for me to conduct my meeting. Meeting went well. As my business and requirements grow, intend on using their larger meeting rooms for future presentations. Thank you!
Hotel a bit tired but amazing service made up for it

Having had a long stressful day the last thing you need is a moody receptionist making check in, and staying away on business 6+ per month I experience this regularly. However having driven 450 miles and after a number of stressful meetings walking in and being greeted by the receptionist Sue was nothing more then delightful !! She made checking in easy and painless and couldn’t do anything more, from getting me an ironing board and iron to sorting my drink order if only there were more Sue’s manning receptions the world would be a better place !!! As for the room number 14 it is cosy but as it was only me on my own so it’s not a drama, my only grumble would be the TV is tiny and the walls are a bit thin so luckily for me the guests next door are only watching tv !! My room is also next to the gym and pool building and they have fitness classes on at the moment, it’s currently 20:00 so the sound of loud dance music and the instructor shouting is a bit overwhelming and is that loud I had to turn up the TV which in turn, due to the thin wall might upset the guy next to me either way it’s not the end of the world. If I was with my Girlfriend on a romantic weekend I might be a bit disappointed but I am not so I am not! To be honest Sue was that welcoming, polite, helpful and friendly I wouldn’t want to complain to her anyway !!
Lovely warm service in a slightly tired hotel

We received such a fabulous welcome when we arrived here, and the staff were lovely throughout our stay. You could tell they really wanted you to feel at home and comfortable. The room was a little tired, with slightly uncomfortable pillows and the curtains very thin so it was quite light, however for the price and the warmth of the welcome, it was fine!
Not value for money total rip

Im absolutly shocked by this hotel we stayed here to break up our journey. On arrival the owners greated us politely, we where taken to our room 14. Where omg it was horrid bed was a sm double paint coming off walls ,the bathroom had a toilet seat that was half on an half off a plastic sink. Shower was full of mould every dated. He owner did day that we had a court yard as consolation. It didn't feeling a bedroom more like a converted space. The light outside the door wasn't working so it was hard to see putting the key in the door. This was priced at £80.00 a night which is not worth that. So if your looking for a room avoid this at all cost. Not worth the money felt ripped off. This is not what I imagined our stay to be like.
