I had high hopes

Lifelong Marriott frequenter and member of the Bonvoy loyalty program Hotel is clean and is conveniently located for downtown activities Unfortunately some of those activities take away from a better rating. The hotel is near bars and restaurants and the windows are not properly insulated to keep out the noise. Both night of our 2 day stay resulted in hearing loud music and street noise well past midnight. Also the walls are thin and it was easy to hear the tv in the next room. One thing the hotel can’t do much about were the loud guests in the hall late at night. While a well appointed and comfortable room, the pretty glass door closing off the bathroom rattled terribly, making a late night/early morning trip to the bathroom a wake up call One of the elevators appeared to be out of order yet there was no sign. It was not unusual to wait 10 minutes for an elevator to appear. Unfortunately the elevator was frequently dirty, but that was due to patrons. But it would have been nice for the hotel staff to monitor One safety concern was that the parking garage was open to the public and any floor was easy to access despite the sign saying a room key was required. That was not the case. While the hotel does not have a full time restaurant it does have a bar w a limited food menu. Unfortunately the bar was closed by the time we arrived back at the hotel at 11:15 pm on a Saturday night. Seems a bit short sighted when the neighborhood was busy…and their tv message said 4 pm to close. I guess close was at the discretion of the bartender Overall a mediocre to disappointing stay. We will not be returning to this property in our next visit in 6 weeks

Not Quite 'The Total Experience ' One Would Hope

The hotel has a terrific location, friendly staff and great rooms plus a beautiful lobby and bar. The gym is well equipped but small. The pool area really needs remodeling. It is tired and worn out. It really falls well below what one would expect from seeing the rest of the hotel and really detracts from the whole experience of staying here. The design of tge hotel itself also shades the pool area earlier than you would prefer if you're interested in hanging out at the pool.

Downtown Tucson hotel and restaurant

We loved this hotel. Beautiful decor, nice room, quiet and peaceful and location is excellent for downtown access. The night auditor Justin was beyond helpful. He answered any questions we had and went out of his way to recommend excellent places to eat and even printed a map of transportation routes for us. Our favorite nearby restaurant was The Raptor Canyon Cafe. The owners are wonderful people and the food makes you want to eat there repeatedly, which we did. Breakfast and lunch taste homemade. To go orders are an option, too. And made from scratch biscuits and baked goods.

Don’t stay if you want to get any rest.

Open air nightclub next door that I am told stays open until midnight on weekdays and 2am on weekends. There are only workers there in a Weds night but the music is still dialed to 11. If you want to sleep at a hotel this probably isn’t the one for you. Called the front desk and could not switch rooms. On the plus side you get to listen to bad music most of the night. Avoid unless you can sleep through a Kane West concert.

Beautiful hotel. Centrally located. Very close to train station. Very polite staffs.

Very beautiful hotel. It is right next to the train station. I arrived late by train so it really help to have a hotel really close. I was assigned to a beautiful room. Large and clean. Kind of luxury. I only stayed one night and I really wished I booked for a longer stay. The hotel is also right at Tucson downtown. Also staffs are very polite.
