Very good airport hotel

There are a couple of airport hotels we use when flying out of Tucson. Residence Inn offers a studio, and 1 or 2 bedroom suites. We stayed in a studio before our trip and a one bedroom upon our return. The rooms differed in the size of the living areas. The studio was a bit cramped in the kitchen area and the living room was tighter, too. But, if this is just a quickie one-nighter, the studio for the price is a very good value. All kitchens have dishwashers, microwave ovens, a 2-burner stove, and all the dishes/cookware necessary. The studios do have a separate bedroom area off the main living section and all the beds are quite comfortable. Sleep quality was generally very good and the staff were so pleasant and helpful. Breakfasts are a bit different in these Covid times and, if scrambled eggs or sausage is desired, the kitchen staff will put that together in a little to-go container for you. All the other options (bagels, juice, etc.) are individually wrapped. Even the juice is set out in covered cups on ice. Van service to and from the airport is more often than not going to be via an airport parking service van. The front desk will call for one when the traveler is down there at the desk. We normally bring a pre-flight light dinner with us to the hotel but, other dining options include a Mexican Chicken place, a Denny's and maybe a burger place all within an easy walk. As our flight departures always seem to be very early in the morning, packing some juice, fruit, and maybe some hardboiled eggs works out well for us. One cannot live on cookies and coffee alone (although it is tempting to try!) and the options at the airport are limited. The Residence Inn Tucson Airport makes our travel so much easier.
Road trip first stop

Was driving to Texas and stopped at this hotel. When I say customer service was amazing, I mean AMAZING! Tina was so attentive and so helpful, it was the best customer service I have ever received at a Marriott hotel. The only reason I rated it 4 stars was the noise. I was on the bottom floor and there were children running back and forth upstairs late at night and in the morning.
Would stay again

I was satisfied with almost all aspects of Residence Inn. Quiet, clean, comfortable beds, kitchenette, parking lot secure, etc. Upon requesting more bedding, staff responded promptly. I was disappointed with kitchen utensils. We left early all days and they provided adequate to-go breakfast. As long as cost is competitive I would definitely stay again.

The staff were good except slow to respond to a backed up toilet. The bed was comfortable and the kitchen well supplied. COVID restrictions impacted the food and closed the pool but overall a pleasant stay.
Do not stay here!

I have been staying at this hotel for business since 2013. I just checked out this morning for the last time... The hotel was really dirty and the room was very dirty. Surprisingly there didn't seem to be that many guests so they should have time to clean. The pool was closed even though there was no notice of that on their website. The internet was "out of order" for the last two days. They couldn't even print me out a receipt copy this morning when I checked out. There are lots of other choices so don't choose this one.
