Great experience
My husband and I stayed here for one night on April 2, 2021 during our travel from Memphis to Atlanta. The property appears newer and was very spacious and clean. Honestly, it was not at all what I expected, especially for a Holiday Inn. Very bright and modern design and decor. The main lobby had a huge foyer that was open from the ground to the top level (4 or 5 stories high) and featured plenty of seating and a huge, round, wrap-around bar. Our suite was large, clean, comfortable, and nicely appointed. The property also had an indoor pool, hot tub, and free parking which was appreciated. You do have to pay for breakfast at the hotel restaurant there though. No included breakfast options. The only issue we had was on arrival, our room card keys did not work. That type of thing sometimes happens, so no big deal, but they had trouble getting it resolved after a few different attempts and had to call maintenance. That's when we met Dana from the maintenance department. She could not have been nicer! We chatted with her while she worked on our door and we unpacked. She helped us with local dining recommendations and made sure we got compensated for our "inconvenience" with complimentary coupons for breakfast. After much work they were finally able to get the door lock situation resolved. We truly appreciated the prompt attention, friendly staff (especially Dana), and superior customer service. The key card wasn't a big ordeal to us but they made it right regardless. We travel frequently and can honestly can say we had a very pleasant here and would recommend it to others.
Great hotel, Good Location
Stayed here for a few days while in Tupelo visiting family for Christmas. Checked in Christmas Eve. Check in was easy and pleasant. Room (529) was clean, spacious, and quiet. Beds were ok. Bathroom was spacious. We had to request extra towels as there were only 2 for 4 people but it wasn’t an issue at all. There is no housekeeping until check out which is normal with COVID. The restaurant was closed on Christmas Day but they provided a grab and good breakfast bag containing several items which was nice. The hotel does not include breakfast in the price but the restaurant looks like it provides a great breakfast as well as lunch and dinner. The overall appearance and design is contemporary and modern. There are several other hotels in the area but not a lot of restaurants within walking distance. Several not too far up the road though. I am sure we will stay here again while in Tupelo.
Accommodating
We had to cancel our trip because my mother was diagnosed with covid yesterday. Thankfully, the hotel refunded our entire trip. Hospitality is alive & well in Tupelo. It means a lot that they treated us with compassionate during these crazy times. When we hopefully return for thanksgiving we will be booking here! THANK YOU.
Very nice
Very clean, large room. Beds were comfortable. Looked like the hotel was full but we never heard another guest. They offer breakfast full service but we wanted to get on the road. This hotel is your best option for Tupelo!
Nice suite and a great value.
We had a two room suite. It was very roomy and clean. The bed vas very comfortable. Some of the services were limited due to COVID , but it was still very clean and the staff was very friendly. WWill stay here again the next time we are in Tupelo.
