Should be closed
Sorry, but this hotel (?) should not be open. I am an IHG man & have stayed at many of their hotels over the last 5 years, this is by far the worst- desperately needs renovation. Otherwise take the name off & put the room rate at Euro 40. We almost committed Hara Kiri, it was so depressing. Paid for 2 nights, only stayed 1 & found a wonderful apartment 150m away. One of the staff at reception was very nice but the others knew their time was limited. Great location though.
Needs a renovation
Great location in Turin, however the hotel is quite old and needs a renovation. The room was quite small with 2 singles beds right beside one another. The shower in our room was almost non-functional. Best to choose another hotel until they can spruce up this one up.
Tired and tatty hotel
A real shame - this is a lovely old building in a great location in easy walking distance of the railway stationa and shopping district. The hotel lacks maintenance, and frankly our room needed a good clean. Staff were generally helpful and friendly. Breakfast was ok. How this hotel holds a four-star rating is beyond me.
Great location but...
My husband went to Turin for a business trip and I tagged along. While not the finest hotel by any stretch, the centre location made up for the lack of amenities. We were on the second and the room was adequate enough. Thank goodness we had a balcony since the heat could not be turned down and it was hot. Although leaving the balcony doors open came with the price of the noisey garbage truck making frequent stops every night at 1am and rowdy drunks on the street. The bathroom was fine but the shower was a bit small. Lots of closet space, friendly housekeeping staff and great coffee at breakfast. We were steps from the bus station and public transportation which a plus. Overall, if given the choice we would have stayed in the area but in a different hotel. Good location
Hotel is clean, staff is very helpful, room is comfortable all amenities. Walking distance to city centre, you can take bus/tram across the street to city centre or almost anywhere. Would consider this hotel
