We spent there days at this place which offered very quite, nice, clean, comfortable rooms and the restaurant provided a decent menu of Mexican dishes. Good value for your money. Hotel helped us coordinate with tour guide/driver that took us to various tourist locations. One thing to consider is the location distance to center of town but taxis are easy to get and relatively inexpensive.
Poorest Maid Service Ever

We have a two bedroom suite. The suite is nice. The maid services shorted us on EVERYTHING. They did not give us enough coffee and coffee cups. They failed to have dishes here. When we complained then they retaliated. The front desk staff is passive-aggressive. This was a nice room but the worst service I have EVER experienced. I do not recommend this hotel.

Hotel is located near public transportation, near shopping center and lots of food options around. Unfortunately, the hotel does not offer concierge service and doesn’t have an ATM on site. The premises are clean and there is a restaurant onsite (mix reviews in our group) but convenient. Overall staff was not very friendly, we were greeted only a few times and desk seem to be Unattended most of the time. Staff was not at all helpful when trying to obtain site seeing information. They weren’t able to make any recommendations. I must say we restaurant staff did come through for us for last minute New Year’s Eve dinner when everything was booked to capacity. Due to Covid most restaurants were operating at lower capacity and the city had a dry rule in place no alcohol was being sold. Our room was located on the second floor, it was spacious and clean. It was nice to have a mini fridge and microwave in the room. However, the bedding was completely worn out and pillows were flat. Overall the room can use some maintained, scuffs and stains throughout.
Great Visit at Tuxtla Hilton Garden Inn

Overall we had a wonderful visit to the Hilton Garden Inn in Tuxtla Gutierrez!! The staff was very friendly, the rooms were comfortable, and everything was very clean! Due to COVID, the pool was closed unfortunately but looked very inviting! Oscar and German took very good care of us in the restaurant for breakfast every morning. By the middle of the week, they knew I wanted black tea over ice with a straw and some Stevia (ha) (strange American with iced tea for breakfast). The only problem was Sunday morning breakfast. I’m not sure what happened but they had no staff in the kitchen. We waited like 1.5 hours to get any food. Hopefully they can make sure they are well-staffed on weekends too as people staying expect their included breakfast to be prepared. I would definitely stay here again if visiting the area. They had to juggle our room a bit due to government restrictions of 25% capacity so we didn’t get the suite we had planned on, but they ended up giving us 2 more rooms to accommodate our group of 8 for the same price! Free on site parking and WiFi. Thanks for a great and memorable stay while on our vacation. We made great memories and Hilton was part of it!!
Hilton quality but unfortunately poor service

The hotel is very well located, the bed was so comfortable and the shower very nice. Nice selection and variety for breakfast. Unfortunately the receptionist was a jobs-worth, dis-interested in helping me and unwilling to even help me find my Hilton Honors account number. She seemed to be more interested in chatting and socializing with her colleagues than helping the guests. I was waiting in reception for check-in and she could’t even walk over to let me know a room was available? Great Hilton hotel let down by poor service at the front-desk. Shame.
