Hotel surrounded by greenery

Hotel Agustos is located on the periphery of town Urubamba in Sacred Valley surrounded by mountains (Urubamba mountain range). Hotel complex looks pleasant and is full of carefully maintained greenery. The room we stayed in was really spacious and clean. The only problem was the wi-fi did not work at all (which was not so surprising in valley at altitude of nearly 3 000 meters), perhaps as such a usable connection was just in main lobby.
Beautiful hotel complex with a stunning garden

The hotel is quite difficult to find because it is hidden behind a small path. I was worried about what the hotel would look like because the streets in Urubamba leading up to the hotel are not the best, however I was blown away when I saw the hotel. It is much nicer than the surrounding area and has a beautiful garden area. The hotel room was nice and the food in the restaurant was reasonably good. The bar area is quite small but it is a rather quiet place so it doesn't get too crowded.

Thanks to LATAM airlines we arrive late on a cold, rainy night. The staff got us into our room as quickly. The room was clean and quaint with two full beds and thankfully a space heater. After some manipulation we got the heater cranking, took a nice hot shower, and went to sleep. The next morning we awoke to see a beautiful property set in lush, green mountains with lovely gardens of hydrangeas and other flowers. Breakfast was plentiful with fresh fruit, eggs, and breads. Also available is tea used for treating altitude sickness which was coming on due to the locale. The hotel also had oxygen available and a few on our tour took advantage. Whatever was needed to make us comfortable was provided. My only regret is not having more time there on the way to Machu Picchu.

This is a lovely looking hotel, but the bathroom was old and had a peculiar smell. We had the curtains to the balcony closed, but there were lights on all night just outside, so the room wasn't very dark. Breakfast was good and we also had dinner at the restaurant and that was very nice. The lobby area is the only area with wifi, and it wasn't very strong. When a busload of people arrived and everyone was trying to connect at once, it was not very successful. On the plus side - the bar had a happy hour!

had the great pleasure of staying here at this Beautiful hotel..sadly only one night ..but what a joy..the gardens were one of the most beautiful landscape gardens in all my travels I have seen..the room very large and my room had a spa bath which I relished after a long day traveling.enjoyed a complimentary pisco sour in bar on arrival.there was a restaurant but we ordered room service and ate on balcony in room...was just a delight and prior to leaving in morning enjoyed a buffet breakfast in Lovely restaurant..as usual staff very nice and helpful..
