We had an amazing stay at the hotel! Flor and Gaby at reservations did the imposible to help us stay here and extend our stay!! Pollina in the reception was always kind and heblpful! She was always with a smile and willing to help The staff at the martial Abril/ Johnatan And Micaela had an outstanding service Naty at the spa was so kind!!and so nice and attentive! The food at The martial and the snow bar was very good too The spa is beautiful! And newly renovated! The outside spa in the open sky with snow a treat! The rooms are stylish and the common areas are modern with some rustic touches The hotel is not too big, makes you feel at home All the staff, the not that receives you after a long ski day at the front door was nice too Leandro at the hut on cerro castor from the recreation team was cool too! He taught us how to wax our skies ! A must do are the yoga clases! Florencia was awesome! Her yoga is soooo good after a ski day and so helpful too Something to improve is the transport time 4.30 pm was too early and 6 pm was too late Something in between works have been great!
Nice Hotel, Great View

This hotel is on a foothill above Ushuaia. The rooms are large and have an excellent view of the city and bay. The second floor has a nice bar and lounge area. You are sort of a captive audience for meals unless you have a car. The food is good, but is very expensive.
Great bartender and drinks

Nice clean place staff friendly grounds well maintained. But the bartender a true mixologist! Made speciality drinks off a rolled up cocktail menu emphasizing local botanicals seaweed simple syrup, prison punch, local mosses delicious and the waitress from Colombia just a delight.
Las Hayas Hotel is a pleasant enough hotel, but does not inspire.

Rooms:***** Our room (311) was harbor facing with a wonderful view. The room was a good size, able to fit a love seat and coffee table. The bathroom was fine with tub/shower combo and one sink. The décor could probably do with a refresh, as it looks like someone’s grandmother decorated it. The pillows on the bed were terrible, being made of foam. Location: **** LH is located up the hill just outside of the town center requiring the use of the hotel shuttle or taxis (which are plentiful and cheap…about P300 each way). The trade-off on location is that you get a spectacular view of the harbor and surrounding mountains…which is a great trade-off, assuming you have a harbor view. Food: *** We had two dinners in the dining room, which were good. The crab soup was particularly good. Breakfast was pretty good as well. Service: ****. The front desk was a bit officious, but competent. The wait staff in the restaurant and breakfast room were pleasant and attentive. The spa was nice with indoor pool and both indoor and outdoor hot tubs. We had one massage, which my husband thought was very good. WIFI: **. The room WIFI was terrible, with the common space not much better. In a day when WIFI is so important, not to have good WIFI in a hotel is inexcusable. Overall, the hotel was fine, with the exceptions noted above. If forced to decide whether we would stay there again, I would probably say yes, but would certainly look at alternatives first.
