Customer service under expectation

Honestly, i can not tell you about the hotel itself, but I can tell you about a lady who represented the Silken chain of accomodations at the hotel frontdesk on 3th of February at 14:30.
As everybody knows, we are living hard times caused by the Covid pandemic situation.
We recently moved to Valencia and have been visiting a flat for sale, to buy it for ourselves. It was located near this hotel, and as a woman I felt very bad, because I definitely had to visit a toilet. Everything was closed, but the real estate agent advised us to go to the hotel, ask permission to use their bathroom. Sounded good to us, until we faced a lady at the frontdesk, whose behaviour I can not describe. When she understood what me (as a lady and potential future guest) wanted to do, she became very, very aggressive and started to yell, and wanted to kick us out of the lobby. With my husband we are travellers of higher class, and also we have business related to many luxury hotels in the world, so we knew how to react. We asked for a supervisor. The lady became mad...She told us that she is the supervisor, her name was Ana if i can remember and if i want i can write to the central office a complaint because anyway they don't have a contact email address. ( By the way it is true). Don't misunderstand me. If she explained to me the Covid situation in a nice way, we should have understood that... That was the story. This is also the truth about people needing work in Spain. It is a lie. Couldn't the hotel manager not find a nice, professionally skilled lady at the frontdesk, instead of that ..."lady" ? It can be explained in many ways, but this is not my problem anymore. Anybody is planning to visit Valencia, better contact me and I can help to find a better place to stay free of charge:)

Recently stayed here for a surprise weekend for my wife’s birthday. Hotel was good and the room and bed comfortable. Breakfast was great with hot and cold choices. Hotel location was good, about 20/30 min leisurely walk to the cathedral area and about the same to the beach. Staff friendly, had a great stay. Good value.
Ok hotel in Valencia

Good hotel in Valencia if you are on business for a couple of days. The hotel in general needs a renovation. The building interiors are starting to show the signs of decay. The halls are very dark as there are not any windows. The room was decent and clean. The breakfast was good with many options and OK coffee that tasted more like hot chocolate. The reception staff was very friendly . I would say three stars instead of four. Not sure if I would stay again if I am in Valencia.

No kettles in rooms no locks on bathroom doors in all rooms

This hotel is really 2* there is no kettle in any room in the hotel and the bathroom doors are glass see through and no locks on them either. Stained blood and urine bedsheets and towels had to ask for them to be removed. and there are homeless people outside the hotel most evenings. The staff are really oblivious to customer service and there’s no empathy. Also no water at all in hotel for one day of the stay which is totally unacceptable. Lifts also broke setting the entire property alarm off! Walls in room are thin and you can hear what the ppl next door are doing too. You’re better off in a premier inn. This is the worst place I’ve ever stayed.
