The best hotel

Reviewed 17 january, 2022

We was at 11.01.2022, The best hotel in Varadero! helpful staff, good service, but modern will only get better! I want to mention the perfect beach, like in the Maldives, white sand blue ocean! definitely recommend!!!

The resort was absolutely fantastic and everything we were looking for! We were six of us and were initially worried to travel during covid. But the resort took all the necessary covid measures very seriously in order to ensure health and safety. The staff were so welcoming, friendly, helpful and fun. Huge thanks to Nayvi, Isela, Alexis, Victor, Marie alice, Tony, Nacho and Yellanie for making our trip so special and entertaining. The spa, the bars and the nightly shows were cherry on top! Definitely will go back to this resort :)

Trip to Varadero

Everyone in our family loved the trip. Will definitely come back again. Very well managed and organized. Kids loved the pool and its bar and had really good time there. Very serious about Covid-19 and had good protocols in place.

Tennis at Paradisus Resort and Spa

Miguel is the tennis pro I had the pleasure of playing with and learning from. Tennis instruction is available from 9 AM to 6 PM. I had the 9 AM reservation all week where Miguel gave me some tips. He gave me a good work out every day and I enjoyed getting to know him. Miguel was friendly courteous and professional. Rackets are provided if you don’t want to bring your own. Balls are hard to come by in Cuba so bring at least two cans of balls as the court surface is rough. Mornings are the best time to play as it’s not too hot. I highly recommend meeting Miguel and making the most out of your holiday by staying fit and having fun playing tennis in Cuba!

Our Trip in December 2021

Reviewed 3 january, 2022

We had a good holiday especially enjoyed the hard working and professional staff including the great and free Tennis coach Miguel, however there were some serious issues to be stated given the price we paid. Firstly we had to change our room 3 times since the phones did not work and it had no safe. You would think that they would inspect basis things like this before they let us go in them. Next is the food. This was the 9 th time we went to Cuba and this hotel was offering one of the worst food choices. Not having milk for 3 days, no lemon, very hard to find olive oil, no sauces available, no grills, only fried food, toaster that did not work at breakfast, no chance to buy better wine than offered all were rather disappointing and especially given that the hotel was only 25% occupied. I am not sure what would happen if this hotel gets to near capacity. The grounds also seems run down, as I understand this hotel was close for almost 2 years. On the pluses are the drinks, entertainment, fantastic beach, the room itself, hotel layout, the tennis coach etc.
