The property enjoys a great position within a nature reserve and by the beach on the Rincón Francés zone. April 2020 would have been my 8th year in a row spending my vacation with my friends at my favourite resort The Paradisus Resort and Spa Varadero. Sadly, we all know the ending to that chapter of 2020. Yet, through the trying days to come, one thing remained consistent in my thought process in an ever changing world...I WILL go back to the Paradisus!! So now as things slowly change for the better, I know my time will soon come. The resort is wonderful, and as I have mentioned in a review over a year ago, I was excited to see the new changes. New Lobby, new renovated rooms. There are always choices of restaurants, entertainment every day and night. A tranquil spa area with its own pool and service's. The beach is spacious and gives a fantastic view from rooms, pathways just about anywhere you walk in and around the grounds. There truly is so much offered when staying with the Paradisus. What makes it a return location for me, has always been the people that work there. Hospitality at is best, not to mention many who have become family to me when I go back. So if you asked me, how have I managed day to day through this global pandemic... thoughts of the Paradisus Resort and Spa Varadero. There's Just Something About It!
I can't wait to visit my second home again

Hi my name Jackie and I have being staying at Paradisus Varadero for many years now this is why I call it my second home. With the Corona virus that has taken over the world unfortunately myself and my friends were unable to come to our second home Paradisus Varadero. This was very hard for us, knowing you have your tickets and everything but you can not go😭it's been a long and hard time, waiting to be able to travel again and see your favorite place in Cuba and all the wonderful staff wish is really like family. It is nice to keep in touch with everyone through Facebook and Instagram but nothing compares to seeing these wonderful people in person. I can't wait until Paradisus Varadero opens back up I need to see that beautiful beach and amazing sunset at night but most of all I need to see my friends at the resort and feel alive again. I can't express to you how much I miss this resort. Please tell me it will be opening soon.🙏🏾
Nice hotel close to an amazing beach

We went there in january 2020. Place was quiet for the high season but we won't complain about that. We booked a room in the luxury part of the hostel and everything was just perfect. Food is good, you can choose différent restaurants and there are not serving the same dishes every day. Surroundings are just incridible. Bar was all right but Mojito wasn't as good as the ones that you will find in La Habana. . The beach is picture perfect and around you can make day trip to national park and wildlife reserve.
Fabulous family vacation

This past March break would have been our third visit to this resort. Because of Covid 19, we had to cancel our trip. My grandchildren, children and I were so disappointed. We love this resort and hope to return as soon as possible. We always stay in ocean view rooms. Cuba is a perfect place for a family vacation. The staff at Paradisus are lovely people. Some even remembered us from last year. The beach is pristine and safe for swimming. The grandchildren loved the kids club. We had to drag them away everyday. Ignore comments about the food in Cuba. The people, the culture, the weather, the beach and the safety is why you go. And there is plenty to eat in the dinning room. Bring Canadian cash and convert it to pesos at the hotel for tips. Leave your loonies and toonies at home. And no, the Cubans aren’t after the American dollar. Leave those home as well. I can’t wait to go back to Paradisus. I hope we don’t have to wait too long.
