Beautiful hotel in the old style with elegant dining room and excellent and competent waiters. Rooms a bit worn out and the bathrooms are just OK. The Breakfast is excellent, Pool is good. WIFI not working well.

To begin the location of the hotel is simply perfect; literally less than a 2 minute walk from the main square with the church. The hotel, formerly a palace, itself beautiful and pretty authentic to the style of the 19th century. Our room was basic, which was all we needed. Personally I didn't like the bed that much as it felt too much like one of those memory foam mattresses, but was decent enough. The pillow felt the same, but we asked the reception for extra pillows and got them. 2 pillows were fine to sleep on. The room and bathroom were really clean. The shower was just amazing, good pressure and warm. The hotel has a policy where they change your towels every other day to conserve water and be more nature friendly. I have no issue with that at all. Not like I use fresh towels every day at home either. Despite that, we did get new towels the next day but perhaps that was because it was noted we would only stay 2 nights. Can't have any complaints about the hotel really. If I have to critique something I would critique the breakfast time as they serve breakfast until 9.30 am. Most likely because most people who come to the city are "early birds" who probably take trips around the area. But I'm sure there are people who would just stay in the hotel and area to relax, so I would offer breakfast until 10.30 am at least for variety. Hmm, what else? They have free WiFi. We experienced no problem with it, just one time where it showed signal but it wasn't actually working. Quick phone call to reception to ask for a reset of the modem and it was fixed. So no big issue. Great hotel, friendly staff and excellent location. Highly recommended.

Estadia regular em Vassouras

Pousada regular na região central da cidade de Vassouras. Vale destaque a Equipe de funcionários, que é muito prestativa e gentil. O prédio é um casarão histórico que necessita de restauro. O quarto é antiquado e desconfortável e o café da manhã apenas regular.

Pensei que teria dias agradáveis neste hotel, porém tive foram dores nas costas. Simplesmente juntaram duas camas box de solteiro e colocaram um forro para nos enganar. E a sujeira na piscina, parecia que não limpavam há dias. Café da manhã escasso e funcionários sem educação, grosseiros. Nunca mais volto neste hotel.

Só uma vantagem, localização. Desvantagens: Culinária, péssima, sem opções de pratos. Instalações, antigas e sem manutenção. No caminho do Anexo II, após a piscina, presença de baratas, muitas e mais um pouco. Quem tiver coragem de se hospedar NÃO fique no primeiro andar do Anexo II. (Alô Vigilância sanitário de Vassouras). Não tem ofertas de bebidas, não tem vinho e se o cliente quiser beber vinho, pode trazer, mas tem de pagar rolha de R$40,00. Ar condicionado de parede e velhos, funcionando mal. O quarto número 4, Anexo I, não tem TV, tem um monitor de computador. Quartos do Anexo I com cheiro insuportável, parecendo uma mistura de mofo com veneno de cupim. Os quartos do Anexo II, não possuem frigo bar, tive de comprar um isopor e colocar gelo. Estou aqui no Hotel e lamentando essa estadia.
