Very nice staff and excellent service. Nice restaurant with really good food. Extensive and fresh breakfast offering. Nice pool in the basement which was a nice retreat from the hot weather during our stay. Well equipped, air-conditioned gym.

Every time I have checked out from a Scandic hire I promise myself never to check in again. But sometimes I really have no options and I am forced to stay at Scandic hotel due to a shortage of rooms at other places. The point is, that Scandic has no feeling or capacity of delivering service. They literally suck at it. The front desk personal may have some ability to work on but the restaurant personal, and especially on the breakfast, totally suck. They seem to hate their guests. And there is no chance that this hotel ever take about customer service or value. Look, there are plenty hotels in Skellefteå, pick something else than this god forgotten place with no value of you as a guest.

A friendly welcome from reception staff on arrival. The hotel made an great effort to secure guests from Covid. Asked when we wanted to have breakfast so that the buffè did`t get crowded. There were plastic gloves at breakfast. Lots of bottles with alco gel.

Good hotel, great staff and superb location. Walking to town takes 5 minutes where there's a good mix of bars, restaurants and shopping can be found to suit all tastes. Underground and surface car parks ensure there is no problem parking.
