Ok for the value

First time travelers to Italy, so not sure how to compare it, BUT it was an ok value for what we got. Pros: The canal view was a nice surprise. Great view of the grant canal out the window! We saw gondoliers boating by singing. The room was pretty clean. Cons: We didn’t realize the bathroom was shared, which wasn’t a huge problem, but could’ve been. Also they need more hooks and clothes hangers. Hardly anywhere to hang your towels, coats etc. Also MOST annoyingly, upon arrival we found the door associated with the address and it was locked. There was no indication that you had to call to be let in, so we wandered around for 30 mins thinking there was an actual reception desk, as described on their website. The gelato shop next door finally told us we had to call, so we did and then someone showed up and let us in right away. She was friendly, but they need more signage/instructions. Also, we had some bug bites in the morning as other travelers described, but we also slept with the windows cracked. I’d recommend this place to chill budget travelers.
Perfect. Would recommend!

Stayed here for a night in Venice the apartment was perfect. Very clean, nice comfy bed, location was ideal 5-10 min walk from train station. Big bathroom and bedroom. Small kitchen if needed however we eat out so wasn’t used. The price was right for the accommodation would recommend.

I ordered half lobster with pasta. Most of the meat in the lobster was missing. They tried to disguise the lack of meat by filling it with sauce and small prawns. They tried to make excuses but it was rubbish of course, Avoid this restaurant, there is many good ones elsewhere.
Great little restaurant/ hotel right in the canal

We stopped by this wonderful restaurant on the canal before boarding our shuttle back to the airport and had a great meal. I can not say anything about the hotel but it is not a far walk from any of the major attractions here in Venice.
Terrible! Not at all as advertised.

The only good thing is that it was on a quiet street, but that also meant it was a long walk from anywhere good, Truly a terrible experience. The front desk is never open, we had to call for someone to come over to check us in. The man who helped us was very rude. It was not priced as advertised and once we were in the room it was filthy! Black mold under the windows and there was an AC but no remote. Only one window had mosquito netting so we couldn’t even get fresh air. The wall sockets were pulling out of the wall and there was exposed wiring in the bathroom. Our ‘canal view’ we had to lean completely out the window to see about 4 foot of a side canal. Horrible experience overall.
