WONDERFUL COUPLE, BEAUTIFUL HOUSE would stay many times
My little sister and i stayed here for our first trip ever just the two of us. When we arrived it was a little scary being somewhere that people didn't speak much English but as soon as we met the owners we felt relaxed. The lady is absolutely lovely and looked after us so well. She used google translator a lot and we communicated well. The couple drove us too and from the bus stop every day we stayed here, 3 days in total. (6 times driving us around) at no extra cost. She always asked us what breakfast stuff we like and after we told her we are vegan, she went out and got soya milk, vegan bread and more fruit and salad just to accommodate us better. They were a really really lovely couple and helped us with anything and everything we needed. Treating us like daughters. We would love to stay here again as we felt safe, well looked after and our room was clean. Would have liked English channels on the tv however but then again Venice is for exploring. Its a lovely location outside of Venice, just a bus ride away.
Highly recommended!
We are tourists from New Zealand and stayed here for 2 nights. The room was beautifully presented and it was clear that the host took great pride in her accomodation. The host was incredibly helpful and friendly. She went above and beyond to make sure we had a fabulous time. She dropped us off and picked us up from the bus station so that we could have a day in Venice and we were also transported to the train station at the end of our stay. We were able to purchase bus tickets from her at normal retail price which was so helpful! The breakfast was lovely in the morning and again you couldn’t fault the service. There is a also lovely pizza place up the road that we enjoyed visiting for dinner. The service and the comfort of this stay was a highlight of our Italy experience.
Nobody opened the door
Even though there is no time limitation on the hotels.com web site when we arrived in hotel at 8.30 thete was nobody. They didn't open the door and neither answer the phone. So we moved another hotel with recrption. If your flight delays on the way they took your money and enjoy. Don't think about this lonely house on the dark narrow street.
Nice but car is needed
The b&b is nice and the host are really good people, they drive you to the bus stop but Dont stay here if you dont have a car, if you dont like depending in other people, do not stay here. Again really nice people and really clean place.
Great owners in a remote location.
The owner couple are great and super nice and helpful. The room is clean and the area is quiet. The B and B locates outside of the local transportation reaches and it takes 10 mins by car or taxi from the closest bus stop, where the owner would drive to there in the morning and pick you up oh your return. From that bus stop it takes another 30 to 40 mins to Venice by bus. The owner couple are very nice, welcoming and helpful and gives great advises on local area!
