Clean, simple, safe place to stay for a short visit

I arrived in Veracruz via ADO bus at the bus terminal and walked several blocks to get to the hotel. The hotel is located about 3 blocks from the waterfront, and was easy to find using Google maps. The hotel looks really nice from the outside, and it is surrounded by a mix of buildings including small businesses and residential. I felt safe walking in this area throughout the day and into the evening. As you walk in to the hotel, you are greeted by the reception staff who are very nice and very helpful. My room was situated in the middle of the long corridor leading from reception. The entryway and hall leading to the room look very clean and modern. The room was simple and sufficient for all my needs. There was a bed, desk, storage and full bath. A/C was available and worked very well cooling the room very quickly on hot days; wifi was free and fast; breakfast was not available but there were plenty of options available within walking distance; laundry service was not available, but there are full-service same-day laundry services available within walking distance (ask the staff how to locate). There are convenience stores and an old market within a few blocks of the hotel. The waterfront is within walking distance and you can also get to the Aquarium and walk along the waterfront or take buses which run the entire course to get you to the old parts of Veracruz or over into the newer sections as well. Cost is minimal, but you see a lot more of the city, and you get to travel cheaply. There is a lot to do and see in old Veracruz including markets, restaurants, tourist venues, etc. There is also a lot to do in newer Veracruz including shopping malls, restaurants, movie theaters, etc. Great city to explore on foot and by bus if you are spending time there. A walk around the hotel area is also very rewarding especially if you leave the hotel and turn left and walk a few blocks. You run into everyday Veracruz with folk doing their everyday things. Lots of cafes, restaurants, parks, stores, markets, etc. Worth the walk. The hotel staff were very helpful and kind. The room was always picked up when I got back in the evenings, and the people who tended the room went out of their way to make it pleasant and inviting.

Buena tarifa, excelente ubicación, trato cordial, todos fueron muy amables, serviciales, incluso aunque no dejaran entrar mascotas, pudieron hacer una excepción al tratarse se un perrito pequeño de servicio (educado para apoyo emocional), y además traíamos el catre del perrito, hotel limpio, agua caliente, posibilidad de desayuno a la habitación o en su comedor. Excelente señal Wi-Fi, aire acondicionado eficiente. Kit básico de shampoo, jabón y toallas. Muy recomendable.

Si vas a Veracruz en plan de negocios, es muy recomendable este hotel ya que se encuentra bien ubicado a unos minutos del centro de Veracruz, la atención del personal es muy amable y los dueños siempre están al pendiente de que estés satisfecho

Buen hotel no es de cadena, es de la región, personal muy amable,habitaciones limpias baño limpio. Buen clima. Pantalla, Todo bien no cuenta con Restaurante, dan factura electrónica. Para quedarse ahí por trabajo esta super el precio muy bien.

No recomiendo el hotel, lo único bueno es la ubicación, nos alojamos aquí para el medio maratón del puerto, llegando el sábado 14 y saliendo el domingo 15, reservamos dos habitaciones y una de las que nos dieron aún estaba sucia, posteriormente ningún canal de tv se veía en ambas habitaciones. Salimos a la calle y cuando volvimos, en una de nuestras habitaciones había una maleta de otra persona, artículos de uso personal de alguien más, se bañaron e hicieron uso de las toallas de la habitación. La recepcionista dijo no saber porqué, ni que había sucedido. Nos cambiaron de habitación y cuando quisimos bañarnos, nunca salió agua caliente en ninguna de las dos habitaciones. Terminaron cambiándonos a otro hotel, el hijo del dueño se presentó y nos llevó al otro hotel, llamado ziami, pero también deja mucho que desear, viejo, se ve que no hay mantenimiento continuo, una de las habitaciones que nos asignaron parecía de hotel de 200 pesos, jamás regresaría a ninguno de los dos hoteles y por supuesto tampoco lo recomiendo. En el primero hotel llamado villamar, las camas ni siquiera tienen sobrecama, únicamente la sábana, no cuenta tampoco con estacionamiento.
