A lovely hotel, perfectly located, very welcoming and friendly staff

This hotel is so good that our one-night stay could very easily have been extended to a whole week! The Laranjeira provides excellent value for money and is very well-equipped and perfectly located, with good off-street parking. Our breakfast was just right, and the helpful staff were so friendly.
Perfect location, spotless hotel, excellent staff

Checked in on Sunday 25 July 2021 and what a warm welcome we received - thank you! The gentleman at reception helped direct us in to the hotel parking space €6 fir 24 hours, he used very sanitary checkin, gave us a map, highlighted places of interest and recommended restaurants. He was very friendly, helpful and professional. The door key required new batteries instead of us waiting 10 minutes he changed our room immediately, we didn’t even ask or mind waiting 10 minutes. The room was spotless, bathroom spacious, room had a balcony with two seats and a table, we would have enjoyed it more if we stayed 2 nights and wish we did because this town is simply stunning to explore on foot. Breakfast next morning was COVID-19 compliant. Waiter eager to serve us more coffee, juice, meats, cheese, fruits, cereal, yogurts and cakes. Great attention to detail. I would 100% stay here again.
Clean and Comfortable

This hotel was modern and completely re-furbished with an open balcony area. It was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was excellent with a wide choice of items. Bed was very comfortable but it did have the tiniest TV I have ever seen.
Right place to stay!

Very nice property with a friendly helpful staff. Clean, comfortable, quiet room, will nice shower. Parking was only two blocks away for only a few bucks. Beautiful town and the right place to stay! Last but not least, great place for the price!

Our group of several stayed in this well situated hotel, whilst walking the Camino.
Staff were very welcoming and helpful.
In my opinion this is very much a budget hotel offering the bare basics of accommodation, probably reflected in the cost.
Our double room was absolutely tiny, I couldn’t open my suitcase and have room to walk around the bed. The glass fronted bathroom was one of the smallest I have seen. Definitely no room to wash a few laundry items and hang them.
I noticed some fellow walkers had rooms below, with balconies , so it may be helpful to book those.
Poor quality bed and pillows.
No fridge, minibar, kettle, or even water in the room.
Air conditioning worked well & tiny tv also ok.
Breakfast very average and a bit unusual, both a buffet and table service.... no coffee machine
