There's much better value

This hotel is in desperate need of an update and it shows. Rooms are very tired, no A/C and the pathetic excuse for a "pool" should be a crime. Kenneth (or Ken), dark haired , rude and arrogoant fellow on the front deak needs to consider another profession, perhaps as a surley jail guard? Oh, and "inner harbour?" No, its blocks away. No restaurant on site, no coffe maker in room, not at all welcoming. Don't waste your money on this "hotel".
Find another hotel if you can!!!

The check in was terrible for there was only 1 desk clerk taking calls and checking in people at the same time. I noticed that there were calls coming from rooms as well. So, check in was at least half hour. The room central air is not sufficient to cool the room and the fan in the room was full of dust that I have to disassembled in order for me to wash so I can enjoy some cooler air. My room has kitchen, guess what? the burners does not work and I have to order electric burners so we can cook. My little girl saw toothpicks on the floor that was not vacuumed. Next day, there was only 1 housekeeper working so we did not get the service needed. I can just imagine the cleanliness and the Covid 19 protocol if there's any. Stay away.....
Solid budget hotel in a great location

Solid budget hotel in a great location: simple, clean and comfortable - perfect place for a night or two to explore beautiful Victoria. Polite and friendly staff. Although room rates are very reasonable for being within walking distance to most attractions - it would be nice not have an additional charge for parking (why not include $12 in the rate?). We were a bit concerned about not having individually controlled A/C but surprisingly were very comfortable in the evening and at night (I guess whatever system “with a central cooling unit that pushes cool air into rooms” they have – it works) We really enjoyed our time in charming Victoria and after productive days being out and about - we had a good night rest in Quality Inn Downtown Inner Harbour. I would definitely stay here again!
Pet can be a problem

Room 201 Clean room, great room with quiet. Staff were good, female desk staff made us feel at home. Our only issue was they do not allow your pet to stay in the protected car park area, we can understand not leaving a pet in the room by itself. But Pets feel very secure in their vehicle. This is not allowed at this hotel.
Stay away at all cost!

The hotel is noisy, old building, tiny room, bed is soft and really unconfortable, noise of ventilation in the room is horrendous and impossible to adjust the thermostat! No breakfast, no coffee maker in the room?????? They couldn't find a way to keep coffee makers because of covid, what a joke! Arrogant, untrained, unprofessional front desk trainees. Stay away at all cost ! ps: worst looking and smelling pool of the island
